It was very quiet.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Lovely food and a very comfortable atmosphere. The McDonald’s which is just next to the rooms spoils it a bit because you can hear cars and mopeds constantly. But if you want a cheap stay and good food just bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine.

We stayed as a stopover on a long journey. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful in the pub. We would stay here again.

Upon entering the establishment, we were initially seated in the main area, only to find ourselves uncomfortably close to the hustle and bustle of the till. Seeking a table away from this we asked to be moved. We were then whisked away to a room of stark emptiness, devoid of the vibrant ambiance that graced the central section. Despite the main area being far from capacity, we were denied a table there. Nonetheless, we indulged in the carvery which we all enjoyed. Regrettably, the experience was somewhat marred by the demeanor of the serving staff, whose lack of warmth and hospitality left a little to be desired.

We stayed here as we weattebfung derby university open dar. Excellent service. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Room were spotless. Beds v comfy. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again . Very secure car park Thank you x

We booked an accessible room. The room was very sparce, with no storage facilities other that a very small area to hang clothes which was to high for anyone who may be wheel chair bound. There was no where else to put any other clothing. the only other furniture in the room was a the bed and a desk. There were not shelves in the wet room to be able to put your toot brush or any other toiletries. The grab rail next to the toilet hinted at being a towel rail due to the signage on it. No where to hang towels or coats. we had booked for 5 nights but only stayed the one night. as a disabled user this room is completely unsuitable. Even for my husband who is fully abled it was very uncomfortable. We complained at reception and this clearly wasn't the first time they had, had complaints about the room. The gentleman that dealt with our complain was very professional and sympathetic. He arrange a full refund for us including the night we stayed and the breakfast we had too. Sorry to say that the breakfast was not great either. On a more positive note, We have a carvery on arrival before booking in and that was very good.

Loved the feel

I booked this hotel as a stop over before a holiday flight. The price was very competitive, which often means that the hotel is poor, but not in this case. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The one little ****** was that although 50% of the rooms were on the 1st floor there wasn't a lift. Not a problem for me, but potentially a problem for older people with heavy suitcases. Would i book again? Yes, absolutely.
