Out of all the premier inn’s I have stayed at this is the worst. The room was too hot even though it was cold outside and we couldn’t sleep. The 3rd bed was too hard and very little room to fit all of the beds in and leave room to walk round the beds. We had to change room for our second night to what turned out to be an even smaller room, my daughter had to sleep with the fixed bed side table behind her, and literally no room to get out of bed a total disgrace, obviously we didn’t sleep very well and when we complained premier inn have decided to ban us. They offer a good night sleep guarantee but seem to be offended when they can’t deliver on their promise. To top it all off on the Saturday night we ate in their restaurant despite giving them six days notice of what meals we wanted they managed a 50 minute delay in between the first and last meal being served, the food that was served was of terrible quality (see photos and you will get the idea) most of the food was over cooked and when I went to challenge the kitchen, it was a bit like the Fawlty towers episode when they haven’t really got a chef, just the receptionist and a boy dressed as a chef. They tried to say that it was because of an equipment break down earlier in the week, but unless their frying pans had broken down I don’t understand how all the fried eggs came out like hard boiled eggs. We refused to pay for the meal and made them phone the regional manager who was obviously upset, hence the ban, she obviously thinks her Saturday night was more important than ours. AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE, it is staffed with incompetent untrained people and should be shut down immediately. If the premier inn think they have heard the last of this they are mistaken.
