Apart from the rude awakening of the fire alarm going off at 6.45am everything was excellent, comfortable, clean and in a good location for amenities.

Perfect for staying overnight after watching Sarah Millican at Derby Arena. Less than a 10 min walk. So relieved we stayed there after seeing the traffic queues to and from the arena.
2 min walk to Frankie & Benny’s for food. Excellent friendly service from everyone we met on reception. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Lovely and clean and modern. Decent price for rooms and parking. Would definitely recommend it.

Great location hotel itself is dated and I need of a refurb. Great service from Anthony he was courteous helpful and went above and beyond. The food prepared and served by Tanya was served hot, well presented and tasty. I would definitely stay there again.

Room clean and comfortable, staff friendly, plenty of parking spaces at reasonable prices. We encountered road noise with windows open as air con non existent, we also encountered intoxicated guests who were noisy and inconsiderate.

We stayed for two nights and the rooms were clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Teresa and Ellie helped us with our plans to go to Alton Towers, including a discounted taxi code. Breakfast options were fabulous. Highly recommend.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nicely presented, it was a good size with a nice view and super comfy beds, the best I’ve experienced so far in my trip to the UK. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling through!

We stay here numerous times throughout the year, unfortunately not sure we will stay again. We found things have gone down hill... booked for a upgraded room however this was not worth the extra cost...it was very noisy at night so not much sleep... Decided to have some light bites,,wow they were awful we were frightened of breaking our teeth on the chicken and the meatballs were inedible it was dreadful.. The breakfast was tasteless and just about Luke warm...we have always enjoyed it here but unfortunately don't think we will return

For a one night experience all was fine! If I were there for longer I would have looked for more comfort, a more personal welcome and fuller breakfast, not in terms of food but in presentation and service
