Check-in is available at 3pm. The room and bathroom are large, but the windows are smaller than the room. The windows of other rooms in the building opposite have no view. The windows are locked and cannot be opened. I contacted the front desk and said that all the windows in the hotel cannot be opened, but because there are ventilation facilities, There was no feeling of depression during my stay. The bed was comfortable and clean. WiFi is slow. The location is close to the city center and a 30-minute walk to the train station. The service attitude of the hotel was poor. I paid in advance to stay for 3 nights. Due to an emergency at home, I only stayed for two nights. After many negotiations with the hotel, the hotel would not refund the remaining 1 night's prepaid room fee.

The hotel facilities are very new. It feels good to stay in it. It is quiet and not noisy. The breakfast in the hotel is very rich. The attitude of the service staff makes me feel very comfortable. I will stay here again next time

I have to say Josh and his team made our stay soo much better than previous stays. friendly professional and helpful. it was a birthday stay and Josh even organised a little something as a birthday treat which was left in the room. well done to Josh and his team Superb

A great choice for a city centre hotel, friendly staff, decent breakfast, aircon and parking over the road. Bathrooms are getting close to needing a touch up

Hotel itself has a a typical premier inn. Issue was it was hard to find and ended up in a bus lane for which I had to pay a fine, also had to pay £16 parking for 24 hours as the parking that is advertised on their website as being discounted, actually isn’t but you don’t know until you are leaving the car park.

We stayed at this Premier Inn for three nights as a base for a trip to Alton Towers. It is clean, great value (£40 a night for a family room, we booked in advance) and the customer service is excellent. We encountered a problem with the electric in the morning and it was sorted quickly. After we’d got ready, we went to breakfast and the guy with blonde hair - sorry I didn’t catch his name - arranged for us to have it on the house. Such a kind gesture and the staff here really do go above and beyond. They’re always friendly too. The location is good, close to local shops and lots of places to eat too. We will return! And highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely visit x

If you needed just a bed for the night without any frills then ok, but had to hunt for a car park, toilet seat broken, extractor fan not working in bathroom, decoration felt old/tired, carpet was dirty and worn, staff didn't want to be there!

Evacuated 4 times in 2 nights. Claimed under Good Night Guarantee but no reply so far. Premier Inn used to be so much better at this.

Lovely hotel, just don't eat there ! Fish wet inside, dry chips hard peas, microwaved tiny sticky toffee puddings, not worth the price we paid, didn't risk the breakfast following morning! Left most of it

On arriving in Derby I started to look for this hotel according to my sat/nav I was close after walking around the bus station & ****** twice I eventually found the entrance not clearly marked & some 500 yards from any where you could park your car to unload my wife is disabled so I went in and asked how I was meant to get her & the luggage there & was told if I broke the law & parked in the taxi's only bay I would be ok for 10 mins there. To which I said no I asked for a credit note not a refund & was met with a No I cannot do that from the manager. I wouldn't mind so much but later this year I have over a £1000 worth of bookings booked with them not good
