I booked it online and is was a very good offend, just to get there and find out I need to pat £150 on top of my online purchase, which was shocking. Food, service and staff were OK.

Stayed at the Aston Court Hotel for one night. On arrival, the reception staff was very good and quickly got me checked in. The room was nice but did have a bit of a musty smell when I first entered but after having left the window open for a bit was ok. Good secure free car park at rear. All in all a nice stay and great location. Thank you.

Great hotel right outside Derby train station. Rooms were clean & had everything you would need provided (toiletries,beverages) Staff were friendly & professional.

The hotel was in a very convenient location and had a good level of cleanliness.The room smelt a little fusty and the decor could do with an update. Overall though it was good value for money.

Excellent location. Good size car park to the rear of the hotel. Fantastic variety at Breakfast, would highly recommend this hotel.

Bed was comfortable, staff were all welcoming and helpful. All was clean. Struggled to work the shower but figured it out eventually. Had a thoroughly relaxing night there. Walls are quite thin, and the people in the next room were having a very loud phone conversation, but that can’t be helped.

We hired Aston court for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Chris was really helpful and accommodating and met all of our requirements for the evening. Jenny and Yara went above and beyond on the party night to make my daughter’s party extra special. Would recommend the hotel for your event and we will be booking future events in the future!

Needed a basic hotel near Derby station for an overnight stay before and early train to London. This seemed to fit the bill and had free parking. Super friendly welcome from the lady on reception. Clearly redecorated fairly recently. New carpets throughout and some new furniture. Only downside was one of our rooms had clearly been smoked in (not sure how recently) - could have asked to move but it was late and otherwise fine. Rooms are basic but adequate. Location super convenient.

The hotel was on and excellent location opposite train station. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfy. The staff were excellent and suggested places to eat. Would recommend anyone wanting a cheap hotel In Derby. With a great location.

The location is excellent as we travelled to Derby by train and it is 2 minutes walk. The atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful; there were very few other guests when we were there. The lift was slow, and once we reached our floor, there were still stairs up and down to our room. Anyone with mobility issues would be advised to check this out before booking. There are certaily some more accessible rooms. Our room itself was spacious with a bath/shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc so all as we would want. The bed was comfortable. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, particularly the Portuguese ladies who served us breakfast. The breakfast was not bad - fresh fried eggs and the usual cooked breakfast. Tomatoes were on the menu - we expected fried tomatoes but they were actually tinned plum tomatoes heated up. We did not have any other meals in the hotel - there are some excellent Indian restaurants very close by.

We stayed here on a K.G.B. 2 night deal.The room we were allocated,we found unsuitable so we asked to be upgraded.This was done at no extra cost.......this room was far better,apart from the bed that was ready for replacing.We ate in the restaurant on the 1st night,but found this a disappointing experience.... the bread rolls were still frozen,an extra was forgotten & the steak was not very tasty.When we brought the matter to the attention of the duty manager....Matthew.....it was dealt with in a very professional,courteous manner.The breakfast was very good & we found all the hotel staff very friendly & helpful
