Celebrated birthday there and hotel was really nice in puting up the happy birthday decoration.
They also wrote us a really sweet card and gave us a birthday cake and some canele, as well as a birthday gift. And the staff were really nice in helping us place the flower to our room before arrival. Great stay, will definitely stay with them again.

The room was spotless, and my cosmetics and toiletries were neatly arranged, which was a huge plus for someone with OCD like me. But the real highlight is the view – it's absolutely stunning. The rooftop bar also offers excellent service, and their cocktails are thoughtfully crafted with unique flavors. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.
Plus, the location is super convenient. It's quick and easy to get to areas like Hong Kong Island, Kwun Tong, and Sai Kung. The hotel is right above a MTR station, and Taikoo Shing mall is just downstairs.

JJorey@ZhangYiStaying here felt uniquely relaxing. It's not the usual stiffness of a business hotel or the looseness of a typical resort; it's more like a gentle embrace, a 'hidden gem in the city.' As you turn off the bustling Nathan Road into the hotel's driveway, the noise instantly fades. The room size is a luxury by Hong Kong Island standards. The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows transform the Victoria Harbour skyline into a living mural. The soft earth tones, velvet and leather accents, and books about Hong Kong on the shelves make it feel as comfortable as a friend's home. The bedding is exquisite, and the lighting is meticulously designed – no harsh glare, just warm, layered illumination. Breakfast is à la carte; I enjoyed eggs Benedict with a sea view. In the evening, I'd head to DarkSide for jazz, where the bartender crafted cocktails based on my mood. If I didn't feel like going downstairs, room service was prompt and excellent. The best part is the direct elevator access to K11 Musea, meaning you can step out and explore art exhibitions or grab a bite at Ichiran Ramen. It's a seamless transition between vibrant city life and tranquility. The sixth floor's Asaya feels more like a lifestyle center, complete with a shallow pool, thermal baths, and meditation spaces. Before a spa treatment, you can choose your preferred essential oils and music, and the therapists are incredibly gentle. Lounging on a chair, gazing at the sea view, time just seemed to stand still.

We chose a sea-view unit, and the expansive view was absolutely delightful. The design is like a hotel apartment, complete with a Western-style kitchen and plenty of storage, making for a very comfortable stay.

SSaingWe recently returned from our ski trip in Japan, but unfortunately, I injured my knee and I'm currently using crutches and a wheelchair. As soon as my wife and I entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted by a humorous doorman who was incredibly helpful with our luggage and assisting with the wheelchair lift.
Upon checking in, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Maxim Oodterveld, who kindly upgraded us to a premium L600 room, considering my condition. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, complete with a grand circle bathtub. To our delight, we were also welcomed with some snacks and New Year chocolates.
The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was convenient and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding, and it made me proud to witness the high standard of Hong Kong hospitality. Additionally, I must mention that the breakfast at the MO bar was absolutely incredible with late hour serving given the public holiday, the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service provided by our waiter. He was extremely helpful in taking our orders and providing valuable suggestions.
Despite being on a 16/8 fasting schedule and typically skipping breakfast, we couldn't resist indulging in the delicious spread at the MO Bar. The exquisite breakfast was definitely worth breaking our fasting routine for, and we wouldn't hesitate to enjoy it again.
Drawing from our positive experiences at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, we have decided to stay at the Mandarin Oriental for the next leg of our trip.

GGuest User🛏️ The room was spacious, and the two double beds were huge! One bed could easily fit an adult and a child. This would be incredibly cost-effective for a family of four.
🏰 I absolutely loved the decor! The hallways, the garden – every angle was beautiful! In the mornings, you'd wake up to the pleasant sound of birdsong! And stepping out of the garden, you're right by the sea! 🌊
Though the hotel is a bit older, it's certainly not run-down. The public areas are quite new, but the bathroom felt a bit dated with an old-fashioned bathtub and shower curtain. The hallways are carpeted, which made pulling luggage a bit difficult.
Key point ⚠️ Plenty of charging outlets! Besides the universal adapter 🔌, there's also a multi-functional charger on the bedside table, perfect for simultaneously charging your phone, camera, and power bank.

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Wong Chuk Hang, I stay here. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the value for money in Hong Kong is just unbeatable, especially for a sea view room – it's incredibly relaxing. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, the bedding is comfortable, and the hotel service is excellent. It's also conveniently located near the MTR and a mall, making dining and shopping very easy. Even though it was cloudy this time, I still had a great stay. Next time, I'd love to try a higher floor for an even better experience.

SSholenceOut of all the Indigo hotels I've stayed at, the Hong Kong one is pretty mediocre, on par with a budget hotel like Hanting (Hampton by Hilton in China), nothing more. The front desk requires a cash deposit or a credit card pre-authorization. This time I forgot my card and opted for Alipay, and then the hotel did something truly baffling: they came to my room and cleared out all the mini-bar items... 😂😂😂😂😂 I don't understand what kind of logic makes them think I'd try to swindle them out of those practically worthless mini-bar snacks. 😅😅😅
Also, the electrical outlets in this hotel are old-fashioned and very scarce, and they don't even provide complimentary drinking water, which was another surprise. I wouldn't recommend adding breakfast; there's hardly anything to eat, just some bread and a few pre-packaged dishes, with no local specialties whatsoever.
The location is decent, on Queen's Road East, right near Wan Chai MTR station. Hong Kong's service industry really needs to step up its game.
