Design Hotels in Sanya

Traveling with family, we booked a twin room on the 11th floor. The room was quite spacious, enough for three people! There were many family activities arranged, but they felt a bit perfunctory, as it's not a dedicated family hotel after all. The butler only contacted us after check-in, and the welcome fruit was delivered on the second night. The butler service was great and basically accommodated all our requests. I heard the Grand Hyatt's breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and it truly was! The breakfast definitely deserves high praise. However, the low rating is due to the hygiene conditions. 1. The small bed had a takeout food smell, I'm not sure why. The next morning, my child's arm had many bites. We informed the front desk, and they arranged for pest control and a change of bedding. 2. The room had a pervasive musty smell, even the pillows, perhaps because it had been raining for a few days. The front desk arranged a room change to the 12th floor, but that room also had a musty smell, so we just gave up. They provided a dehumidifier, which is better than nothing. Upon check-out, the hotel, feeling they hadn't satisfied us, offered either an airport transfer or lunch. Those who understand, understand the intention behind this! Overall, it didn't meet my expectations.

- Four days and three nights at The Edition, a regular yet enriching stay. To sum it up, a five-star review! - 1. Service: Attentive butler-style service throughout. They anticipated our needs and even thought ahead of us. Any issues during our stay were promptly and properly resolved. Especially our butler, Naiya – your thoughtful service and your smile were equally warm and incredibly approachable. - 2. Restaurants: The breakfast was extensive, with many unique offerings superior to other luxury hotels, such as fresh juices and vinegared wontons (absolutely delicious!). The Chinese restaurant's fresh seafood Cantonese cuisine was expertly prepared, even better than what we find in Guangdong. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. - 3. Facilities: The hotel pools offered variety, catering to all types of guests. My child cried and didn't want to leave the hotel at check-out time! The children's activities, in collaboration with Bei Ye Xing Qiu, were incredibly rich from morning till night. Who wouldn't want such a fun experience with the kids? - The Edition's background music fills every corner of the hotel, very trendy. It's truly a stylish and warm hotel. We will definitely be back. See you next time!

Our stay at Sanya Poly Rosewood exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an understated elegance, without being overly noisy. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bathroom amenities were of high quality. From the balcony, we had direct views of Haitang Bay's turquoise waters and clear skies. The infinity pool offered spectacular views, and enjoying the sea breeze in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The staff (Tao) had an excellent sense of discretion, promptly and appropriately handling any requests without being intrusive. The breakfast selection was rich and exquisitely prepared. The private beach was secluded and quiet, perfect for a relaxed holiday. This trip was incredibly pleasant and definitely worth revisiting.

The Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay is perfect for families with kids! It boasts a prime beachfront location, just a short stroll through the gardens to a beach with fine sand, where my child had an absolute blast playing and splashing in the waves. They have a kids' splash pool, a mini-train, and a well-equipped children's play area with a variety of activities, plus daily parent-child events. The room came with kid-friendly amenities, and the service was very thoughtful. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. It's a one-stop-shop for eating, staying, and playing, making it effortless to travel with kids. Definitely our top choice for Sanya with little ones, we'll be back again!

I've been to Yalong Bay many times, but this was my first stay at The St. Regis, and it was a spontaneous trip. 1. Hotel Environment: Entering the hotel, there's a lovely tree-lined path. The hotel lobby and common areas are of a very high standard. The layout is well-planned, there's abundant greenery, and the signage is clear – even someone as directionally challenged as me could find their way around. 2. Hotel Service: From check-in to meeting our butler, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our butler, Yuki, was an absolute sweetheart; her dimples were adorable. I tend to have a lot of requests, but when I arrived, everything had already been taken care of. Yuki checked in on us daily; I barely even used the room phone – if I needed anything, Yuki was there. Judy Fu, who cleaned our room, replenished supplies and tidied up promptly every day. The weather was hot, and her care was very thoughtful. 3. Hotel Dining: Since we were rarely around at mealtimes, we mostly ordered room service. The food at the Chinese restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of dishes. I had planned to eat there again for lunch but didn't get the chance; I'll definitely go back next time. 4. Hotel Facilities: The hotel has its own pier, and there are so many activities available. They also have go-karts and a rainbow slide, perfect for enjoying when the sun isn't too strong. I really loved my room, especially the bathroom – everything was so well-designed and spacious. I dislike cramped layouts. In summary: A few days weren't enough; I definitely need to go back!

This time, I booked two pool-access rooms for two nights at the Ritz-Carlton Sanya for my family, and we had a very relaxing vacation. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. The rooms at the Li Tao Pavilion offer direct access to the pool, so you don't have to go back and forth through public areas, giving you complete freedom with your time. Unfortunately, all the pool-access rooms with sea views were fully booked during our stay, but the pool-access rooms in Building Two were also great, offering a quiet and private environment. The guest rooms were spacious and airy, and not damp as I had imagined for a ground-floor room. They were dry and comfortable overall, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lush tropical vegetation and attractive scenery everywhere. When we had free time, we'd stroll through the gardens and slowly make our way to the beach. On clear days, the waters of Yalong Bay are crystal clear, and we were lucky enough to see the beautiful blue sea and sky this time. The service during our stay was excellent. Nicole was friendly and responsive to our requests, handling everything promptly and appropriately. We didn't have a packed itinerary; most of our time was spent enjoying the hotel, playing in the pool, and walking along the beach, truly savoring a slow-paced island holiday. As a long-standing resort, both the facilities and service are top-notch. Li Tao is perfect for those who prefer a quiet getaway and enjoy water activities. Immersing ourselves in the leisure of island life, this stay was incredibly comfortable. When I come back to Yalong Bay in the future, the Ritz-Carlton will still be my top choice.

What truly impressed me most about staying at the Fairmont was its stunning landscape design. Lush tropical vegetation and expansive lawns stretched all the way to the private beach, making every photo opportunity feel like a professional shot. The hotel's winding canals evoked a charming Venetian feel. If you opt for a flower boat photoshoot, the captain will actively work with the photographer to position the boat at the best angles for effortless, beautiful pictures. The hotel grounds are vast. We stayed in Building 3, and our room offered breathtaking views of lush greenery meeting the endless sea and sky. The balcony also featured an oversized bathtub, perfect for soaking while watching the sunset – incredibly relaxing. A special thanks to our butler, KK, who provided meticulous and thoughtful service, always ready to assist and even proactively upgraded us to a sea-view room. The Fairmont's breakfast selection was diverse. My favorite was the durian croissant, crispy and delicious, with a molten durian filling. They also thoughtfully prepared baby food, which was a very nice touch. The hotel offers a wide range of daily family activities, categorized by age groups: 0-3 years and 4-12 years. We participated in the beach exploration, where the coach, an older brother figure, led everyone with flashlights to catch sand crabs on the beach. The children were absolutely thrilled. A photoshoot at the Fairmont is an absolute must! The photographer, 'Brother Cola,' was incredibly professional and excellent at guiding the children, resulting in photos that exceeded our expectations. In the evening, there's a romantic sunset ritual at the pier, and during the 'blue hour,' there's a spectacular iron flower performance by the pool. I heard you can also see the sunrise over the sea from the hotel beach – I definitely need to experience that next time. We chose the Fairmont as the final stop of our trip, and the overall stay was fantastic, offering excellent value for money.

Pleasantly surprised! I'd seen some reviews online mentioning the hotel being a bit dated, but after checking in, I found that wasn't the case at all. The service was excellent, the hotel is huge, and since I checked in during a quieter period, many facilities were practically all ours if we woke up early. The villa room was very spacious. Due to its age, there were some signs of normal wear and tear, but it was far from run-down; you could still see the quality. My favorite part was the private pool – after a day out, it was lovely to relax and swim with my family. It's a bit further from the beach than hotels right on the coast, but the shuttle bus takes you to the intersection. Shuttles run every twenty minutes from there, and you just need to cross the road and follow the path to the beach, so it was still quite convenient.

This was an amazing travel experience, and my first time staying at this type of resort hotel. It's fundamentally different from other luxury hotels. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, including bars, a zoo, a private beach, various sports courts, swimming pools, a surf pool, and much more. It's truly as they say, coming to Sanya and just enjoying the hotel is enough. Initially, my room wasn't ready when I arrived, but Steven actively coordinated and even sent a welcome gift, which I really appreciated. The service in this regard was exceptional. Other hotel staff were just as great; their service attitude truly lives up to the luxury hotel standard.

I originally booked a garden-view room, but the front desk upgraded me to an 85-square-meter supreme sea-view room for less than 300 a night – incredible value for money! While the facilities aren't brand new, the room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom very well-kept. The highlight is definitely the sea view! Being on a high floor, there's nothing obstructing the panoramic view of the ocean and palm trees right when you wake up. The pool and lawn downstairs are also gorgeous. The value is unbeatable; I'll definitely choose this place again next time! 👍
