Facilities: OK. I like this hotel very much. It makes me feel like I don't want to go home. Sanitation: It's quite clean. They clean it twice a day. Don't worry. Environment: As shown in the picture. There are also many fish. You can choose this one in Maldives. Service: Good. Airport pick-up and drop-off. No flaws. This resort has surprises every day.

It was my first time to visit Lux Maldives. Although it was an all-inclusive package, I was asked to pay an extra 500+ USD for lunch without any notice from the hotel or the housekeeper. The seaplane time we were notified before going to the island was 15:30, but when we arrived at the Lux seaplane lounge, we were notified that we could only fly at 17:00. After arriving on the island, the butler told us that the first two days were all-inclusive. We could enjoy any restaurant except Italian and Japanese restaurants for free, including bars and cafes, etc. Since we arrived on the island at more than 6 o'clock in the evening, dinner was included that night, and the next day's breakfast, lunch and dinner were all included in the all-inclusive package, and the day after that was breakfast and lunch. Since the children got up late the next day, they went swimming after breakfast, and went back to the room for a nap when they were tired of swimming. When they woke up at about three o'clock, they packed up and went to beach rouge for lunch. Because the butler would send the business hours of various restaurants for the next day the day before, we saw that beach rouge's business hours were 12:00-17:00, but when we paid the bill, we were told that we had to pay more than 500 US dollars at our own expense. I asked the butler myself and was told that lunch after 14:00 in the afternoon would be at our own expense. OK, no problem, if the hotel or butler informed us in advance when checking in, we would definitely pay attention to control the lunch time before 14:00. Another thing is that we experienced a storm the night before leaving the island. The room we stayed in was a romantic water pool villa, which required us to walk a long way every day. Buggy was not responsible for picking up guests from the water villa, so we had to walk or ride a bicycle by ourselves. That night, it was stormy and windy. We waited in the restaurant for a long time but it didn't get better, so we decided to go back to the room with an umbrella. On the way, my child and I were almost blown off the pier and fell into the sea, and there were no protective measures on both sides of the pier. Thinking about it afterwards, I was really scared. We had a great few days in Lux. We had great accommodation and really enjoyed the island as a family. The pools are really great, as is the private pool. We really liked the restaurant with its wooden look. The taste was always top notch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great experience.

From the moment the staff welcome you to the time they wave you goodbye from the pier, you are treated like royalty, They could not be more helpful and are amazing with children Eight incredible restaurants and bars serve delicious food and cocktails. The water is clear ,always warm, and white sand surrounds the island. What greater recommendation than to say we have been 7 times and have already booked for next year

I had such a great time at Lux. Our Butler AVAZBEK responded very kindly. Thanks to AVAZBEK, I was able to do the restaurant and all the activities easily. The food, lagoon, and room condition were all perfect. If I have a chance, I would like to come again next time.

If you're looking for a truly amazing vacation, I would wholeheartedly recommend the LUX South Ari Atoll. We had never been to the Maldives but we had heard it was beautiful, and because we hadn't had a vacation in over a year, we decided to treat ourselves to the LUX Villa for our 5-night stay there. That was the best decision we've made in a long time. From the moment we arrived at the Male airport and the LUX Lounge there, to the morning we flew back home, we were treated to a seamless, delightful experience that I'm still thinking about. Throughout our stay, everyone displayed a clear love for their work, which meant we felt an exceptional level of service and hospitality. Each interaction felt warm and sincere, making us feel not just welcomed, but genuinely appreciated. The LUX Villa. It's huge – with a private swimming pool, a gorgeous bathroom, glass floor in the living room where you can watch fish swimming below, a bar that's stocked with mixers, fresh mint leaves, etc., outside space for relaxing, reading and meditation - and a stunning view of the Indian ocean all around. On top of all that they provide a 24-hour butler with the LUX Villa, and our butler, Ahmed, was an absolute gem. He drove us everywhere in the buggy, made all our meal reservations (8 restaurants there in all), let us know about special events and activities we might want to join, made a video of us at the villa with his drone and even put it to music (!),took us on a snorkelling trip where he and another team member pulled us through the water so we could see a giant sea turtle and a whale shark (the biggest fish on the planet). And he even made us special cocktails at our villa bar! There are a number of other complimentary add-ons besides the butler that come with the Villa (a massage for each person, private yoga sessions, sunset cruise, private movie screening (complete with popcorn, ice cream, etc.), laundry service, etc.), but I think our 24-hour butler – the exceptional care we got from such a gentleman as Ahmed, elevated our experience to new heights. This resort is a testament to the art of hospitality, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unparalleled luxury getaway…

We had a wonderful and super relaxing autumn holiday at the LUX. The kindness and spontaneous service attitude by the staff was heart-warming. Excellent time :) it had everything and more. Booked a family holiday with my inlaws and it was amazing. Multiple food options, when being on an all inclusive the drink selection is a good as it comes. My third time to maldives and this was the 3rd resort. It has its cons but no need to mention them as they are very minor. Special mention to Roshika and Rimaah. Lovely ladies who greeted us everyday and made us feel like they cared about our time and weren't just a room number on the island. Maybe this might be our go to moving forward. As of writing this review I don't think there could be another property that will interest us.

The island is truly paradise, with its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical surroundings that make it feel like a dream come true. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. My villa was luxurious and well-appointed, offering stunning ocean views and the utmost privacy which made it the perfect retreat. The dining options were exceptional. Every meal was a culinary delight.The restaurants and bars had a fantastic ambiance special the Beach Rouge was WOW. The staff are amazing from Sameer the housekeeping manager to Dami the Food and beverage manager to Dida , Huzam waiters at the Beache Rouge And the team at Veli bar. Another superbly well run and beautifully presented Lux resort, our second stay with the Lux brand. The over-whelming impression is of the care, attentiveness, efficiency and friendliness of the staff. From the resort manager stopping to give us a lift in his buggy to the garden staff always giving friendly greetings, all were great. Special mention to (please forgive spellings) Showkat (aka "Shortcut") the brilliantly welcoming shuttle driver who entertained adults and children alike, Reemha (in Mixe who greeted us by name every day), Nissanka (in East Market, who was travelling off duty on our airport transfer but still looked after us and was always welcoming and friendly). We could have named many more. The hotel facilities were of course excellent, with a beautiful room (Water Villa) and the resort all maintained to a standard we now expect of Lux, caring for the environment without compromising guest experience. Thank you to all at Lux South Ari Atoll.

We researched islands in the Maldives for 12 months and went from a shortlist of 60 to 3 and then only 1 - Lux South! And we definitely made the right decision. Everything on this beautiful island is 5*, the amazing staff, the incredible food, drinks, accommodation, facilities are all perfect. We have stayed in some lovely places but this is paradise as we imagine and we will definitely be saving to visit again in a few years time.

We had the most amazing holiday and were blown away by the island, the hotel and the team who work here. The holiday couldn’t have been better with there being loads of things to do plus the most amazing beaches and rooms, we couldn’t have asked for more! Bek was incredibly helpful, Ahmed (who looked after 313) was beyond amazing and so lovely and people who work at east market and bar and mixxe (along with all other restaurants) were fantastic. The coffee team are also excellent.

Lux South Ari Atoll was an absolutely amazing experience! All the staff were super friendly and really went out their way to make your holiday experience unforgettable. We stayed in an overwater and beach villa, which were both great. Food options were great and loved that they had options for all dietary requirements. They even have their own homemade ice cream, which was super delicious. A special thank you to Shawkat, Salwa and the amazing water sports team!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Lux, and it was truly the most incredible experience. The resort itself was exceptional - beautiful, clean, peaceful, and top tier amenities. We spent a morning at the spa, and I would recommend that everybody makes the time to do so, even if just to explore the complimentary amenities. The food was some of the best we’ve had at any resort, each restaurant was unique in its food and drinks, and we didn’t get tired of anything. We originally were not going to eat at Allegria due to it being outside of the All Inclusive Package (and being from New York, we eat a lot of Italian). We decided to book a reservation while here, and oh my god are we glad we did!!! By far, this was the best restaurant we ate at (and we ate at every one). Do not miss this if you come!!! Unfortunately, we were here during a rather rainy and windy week, so we didn’t get to partake in the Whale Shark Discovery experience as we had planned. Even still, there was not a single moment here that felt lackluster. All of that said, what really made our experience so great was the people!!! The staff here are some of the kindest, most welcoming, and friendliest people you will ever encounter. Every day we were greeted by name at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We got to know some of the staff and learned about their families and hometowns. Every person we passed offered a smile and a hello, and so many people stopped to ask about our experience and see if there was anything we needed to make our stay better. I have to shout out Bek, our concierge/attendant, who messaged us on WhatsApp everyday to let us know about activities, experiences, and restaurant openings. He answered every one of our questions, and really made us feel comfortable and settled!!! Glenda at East Market/Umami, and Alouddin at East Bar were also so wonderful and really made us feel at home! Overall, this was the best trip we could have hoped for, and we hope we get to come back in the future!!!
