I was in this hotel for an event. They knew roughly when I would be there. The timing didn't change either. When I arrived, the door was locked. I had to dial a number and wait 10 minutes until someone drove into the parking lot and handed me the keys. I was given a warm welcome, but honestly? Unfortunately, friendly staff isn't everything. When I got to the room, I could see: Wow, a lot of things need to be done. A bathroom without a window isn't bad, but it's not nice when the ventilation doesn't work. The "heater" in the bathroom was a small changing table heater that hung over the door, but the cables were already sticking out. A security company would definitely criticize this during a tour. The bed: A mattress that was far too soft, which made you feel like you were about to lie on the floor and squeaked with every turn/movement. In general, the concept and construction of the hotel is great, but a lot of things need to be renovated. When you come back at night, it is completely dark, there are no motion detectors to light the way to the entrance. It's good that every smartphone has a flashlight. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and varied. There were also plenty of parking spaces. Thank you that in the end it didn't cost as much as I said at the beginning, even though I didn't say anything that was wrong. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is not right. Why did I only give three stars for service? Quite simply: because there is no one there when you want to check in. I wouldn't want to stand there in the cold in winter, but it was no fun in the blazing sun either when you've already driven for over 2 hours beforehand...
