The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. This motel was close the to the interstate and was easy on and off. We were able to park right in front of the room, which is good for my wife so she doesn’t have to climb the stairs.

Stayed almost a week and found the grounds clean, staff friendly. And unlike most places these days, housekeeping still comes with fresh towels. The room was dated but most everything was in working order. They even have a usb charger in case you forget your plug in at home. The heater didn’t work that well, I got up and found a blanket. I don’t think it ever actually got to 70 degrees. Coffee, microwave, and refrigerator were in the room and the ice machine only didn’t work once. The vanity has a great light and the counter was spacious. The shower didn’t get hit, not so bad it was cold…just couldn’t take a hot shower. That with the cool room was a bit much. The location is convenient as it is beside a gas station and right across the street from another gas station with Dairy Queen.

Excellent service. Owners are proud,as is the housekeeping staff. Very comfortable beds, very clean and tidy. A nice family diner next door which offered an excellent supper that was reasonably priced. Room had a mini fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay there again

Surry Inn - Is a true gem. This is the absolute BEST Independent Motel I've Ever Stayed In. The owners motto: Quality Customer Service !! This location was absolute quality. My room was extremely clean. The bed - OMG!!! Outstanding !!! WIFI - Outstanding. The Motel grounds very clean / outstanding. Everything about this location was OUTSTANDING. Pet Friendly. Restaurants/Convenience Store located next to property. Highly Recommend this location.

Stopped here after a long drive. Was very surprised at how nice it was here. Room was very comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. Check in was very easy. I would also like to mention that the man ( I think his name was Sam) who checked us in saw that my husband was having difficulty getting out of our car and he came running outside to offer us a handicapped room. While we did not change rooms, it was very nice that he took the time to care about our comfort. Thank you, Sam, for being such a caring person. Will def stop here again on our way through.

The hotel is nice. Next door is a restaurant (not open seven days a week) and a Circle K with a charge point charger (circle k chargers coming soon). For an electric car driver, it is great to stay at a decent hotel with a food and a charger. I also like the fact that it is easy to charge your phone. And it is a special touch to have stars on the ceiling.

Small local motel, very surprised such a small place is very nicely furnished and folks are extremely hospitable. Very nicely kept and seems to have been recently renovated. Very pleasant stay considering everything and right off the interstate.

I just needed a place to sleep for the night, and this place far exceeded my expectations. Rooms were exceptionally clean, bed was extremely comfortable and the TV selection was great. Needless to say, I had a great night's sleep.

We were happy to find this comfortable room so close to the highway as we traveled south for the season. The room is modest, but the beds are comfortable. There are some nice updates, I liked the granite sink counter and the very nice reading lights by the beds. Our two pets were comfortable as well. The nicest thing of all was the response I received when I realized I left something of value behind. The owner found it and mailed it to me. I’ve left things behind in more expensive places and was told there was nothing that could be done. It is refreshing to experience honesty and willingness to make an extra effort.
