Our guests choose to stay at our locally owned and operated Dodge City hotel while visiting, traveling through or on a business trip for a number of reasons. We are conveniently located on the North 50 Bypass, in a residential neighborhood, but close to shopping, restaurants, and convenience stores. We have easy access to major highways in the area and only two miles from Boot Hill Casino and United Wireless Arena. This is the quietest hotel area in Dodge City, away from the railroad to ensure a restful nights sleep.
We are only a few blocks from Western Plains Medical Complex, Village Square Mall and Dodge City Community College.
There are plenty of reasons to get the ‘Heck into Dodge’ whether it’s Boothill Museum, Dodge Citys World-Famous Dodge City Days Rodeo, or an event at the Western State Bank Expo Center, we are conveniently located.

We enjoyed our stay here for the most part. We usually stay on a 2nd or 3rd floor. We were on the ground floor this time and it was a little noisy. We will request a 2nd or 3rd floor next time.
The breakfast was great and the room was very clean!

1. Key to room didn’t consistently work. Ended up with four keys (none of which worked consistently) after three trips from 3rd floor room to front desk. Staff was empathetic, but offered no fix other than to keep trying. Stayed in room because I was concerned I couldn’t get back in.
2. Clock radio unplugged … thought it was broken until I pulled out nightstand and traced cord.
3. No USB outlets in the room. I needed 4.

We chose this hotel from it’s reviews. We were greeted by a very snobby guy that when I mentioned light heartily about cookies (since they had the set up he said snootily “no cookie” then we happily said we chose this hotel for the review in which he leaned well over the counter to point at the awards and a slight roll of his eyes. So we checked in and was checked into a mobility accessible room by mistake. Come to find out the ap on ******* jumped to this room. We come back and the check in guy says no room changes for 3rd party check in. Then he calls his Manager. A man with a big chip on his shoulder comes out of the elevator and chest sticking out and says since you booked through a 3 rd party we can do nothing for you. He was condescending and rude and we suddenly were 3rd rate people for using *******. We left with a paid for room and went to a beautiful hotel the Hampton Inn and suites Dodge city with a gorgeous room and the kindest, best desk person to check us in. The room is so spacious and clean and I would stay at the Hampton over and over again. But for the any best western in Dodge I would avoid at all cost. Just so who ever is reading this review we travel extensively and our business sends our employees all over the US. We have seen and have stayed in all kinds of resorts and hotels in big and small towns. Do not stay here

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and pleasant. The rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, this time a tub mat was missing and the tub was very slippery, the tub drain was partially blocked, and the fan was not functioning. At 2 AM, dogs were barking in the hallway.

Room was worth the money. Checking in was welcoming and hotel was clean. Breakfast wasnt good enough stop us from having to eat right after checking out but thats no big deal. Housekeeping determined to get us out hours before checkout. However, i would stay again if i drive through Kansas.

Our family was in town for a reunion and had several families staying at this facility. The rooms we comfortable, lovely and quiet. The staff was kind and accommodating. The General Manager was engaging. We spent time at the outdoor pool a couple of times and the kids had a blast while we had space to gather a visit. This was by far the best stay we have had in Dodge and will be returning in the future.
