Just a short ride from Hamad International Airport ($5 Uber) and another short ride to the Al Corniche Street area to see many sites ($3 Uber) is this incredible Holiday Inn, I have never experienced a Holiday Inn like this before. Very reasonably priced that includes breakfast , a breakfast that you would see in high end restaurants, the staff is spot on and easy to communicate with, taking the time to talk and explain in detail your every concerns. The conversation always ends in a “ no problem sir” for example: I have a late flight leaving Doha today, asked for a late check out “no problem sir” asked at breakfast if I may return for breakfast after sitting for coffee “no problem sir” I was going to jot down names of the people who helped me….. everyone that I spoke with helped me! No need to look for any other hotels, this place is it. Many options for food and drinks on site, exercise facilities are immaculate, pool is inviting and the rooms are spacious.

Fabulous apartment! Extremely spacious. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bedroom with a california king and thw second was a twin room. 2 bathrooms, 1 of which was an en-suite. Kitchen with all amenities provided. Nice living area with sofa and tv, as well as dining space. Underground parking available. Only thing I would say is the finishing is terrible, sockets hanging loose, paint job is rough, plaster on tiles which hasn't been wiped and now dry. The extractor fan in thw kitchen hanging by a wire. All these things make a 5* a 5* . If they can rectify these small things, it would be 10/10. A steal for the price and a short stop over trip.

We had an 8 hour layover in Doha and decided to go to a hotel for a few hours between flights. We arrived in the middle of the night and unfortunately they didn't find our reservation. This took about 30 minutes to resolve, which shortened our already very short night. The staff were friendly and helpful and when we finally got our room it was very good. Basic, but nice. After a long flight, it felt luxurious to have a bath and stretch out in clean sheets. We used Uber both ways and it was convenient and inexpensive. I would choose this hotel again in Doha.

The hotel is a real children's hotel. The children run through the dining room and as an older holidaymaker you cannot eat in peace. The dining room is a real canteen. The servers work very hard and are very friendly. However, there are too few servers to clear and polish the tables. The children (and many parents) leave a large amount of food scraps on the tables.
You don't get a tablecloth or a cloth napkin, as you should in a 5-star restaurant. It's very chaotic. We had previously walked into Rixos Dubai and Rixos Abu Dhabi to see if Rixos would be a good choice for us. Those hotels look much better and nicer. That is no comparison with the Rixos Gulf hotel.
We often saw small children taking food from the buffet with their hands and/or putting it back again!
The reception staff, especially Darezhan, is very helpful! he deserves all the praise!
Mr Faruk from Crust, the coffee bar, is a great person, he knows you by name and spoils you.
Some rooms have no view, this was the case with us the first few days. You then look at a latticework. Mrs. Darezhan then gave us a nice room.
If it is cold and, as in our case, you cannot sit in the evening, the bar with 2 tables fills up quickly. You can't get in anymore!
We had booked all inclusive and walked to the Ritz Carlton for 2 evenings to have a beer there for a fee.

MMarinaI normally stay at 4 star hotels when I travel, but I found a great deal on this hotel and decided to splurge. Not sure if the great experience I had there is normal for any Ritz, this region of the world, or any 5 star hotel, but it was very nice and I think I need to do 5 star travel from now on! The hotel reached out in advance by email to welcome me and see if I had any special requests. The room was very large and comfortable, with all the expected technology and amenities. Balcony was small but had a nice view. A plate of baklava was waiting for me in the room. Great toiletries by dyptique. My booking included breakfast and dinner buffet. Lots of variety, regularly replenished, has indoor and outdoor seating (I recommend sitting outdoors - better ambiance and the waitstaff there were particularly attentive). This was my first time doing halfboard and I’m a fan. Any hotel staff I interacted with were very helpful and went above and beyond at nearly every opportunity. The hotel has beautiful grounds and a lot of amenities including a beach, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, numerous bars and restaurants, etc. On my last day after checking out I used the pool and was able to shower and change in the spa facilities. Tried cocktails at the pool bar and B-lounge (one of the restaurants on the property). Very tasty but my experience in Doha (at the hotel and elsewhere) is that drinks there are incredibly weak so it’s mostly a waste of money. I traveled solo and didn’t see any solo travelers at the hotel. Lots of families, couples, business travelers attending conferences at the hotel. I didn’t feel strange but little opportunity to meet people if that’s what you were hoping for. In terms of the hotel’s location, there’s really no where to go by foot but Ubers come quickly,
are relatively cheap, and nothing is that far in Doha. All in all, would definitely recommend staying at the Ritz.

Despite the early hour, they agreed to provide me with an early check-in at 06:30 AM, which was a relief after a long flight and exemplified their commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction.

CCameo19Superb location, right in the centre of the souk area, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shopping areas and the metro. Mosque, corniche, and Islamic museum very close by plus Banana island port. Be aware though, this hotel has 6-8 building and you won’t know which one you’ll be in until you arrive. This isn’t an issue though as all buildings are a couple of minutes from each other. The pool is in building 6 if I remember correctly, not in my building. The hallway carpet was heavily stained and could do with a steam clean, however room was fine. My room was huge, with a terrace on the 2nd floor. Two TVs also. Breakfast was plentiful. Excellent stay overall.

Hotel have a wonderful amenities: nice gym ( I am trainer, I know it), restaurants with buffet and good menu, perfect open space with big pool included umbrellas, sunbeds and sittings for enjoying. There are a lot of amenities for sport: basketball, football, game zones etc. And a big area for the children with equipment. I think this hotel is the best if compare with this amenities and price for that. Amazing front desk management, always positive and helpful. Perfect housekeeping, clean bed linen, it was very important for me. Big thankful I wanted to say to Azhar, he is amazing, very professional and very very kind. (good luck bro). Highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing time here, it was 5 stars! It was immaculately clean and designed. I was at peace because there was a Quran and prayer mat in our room, there's a Qatari vibe to the hotel; architecture, smell (smells gorgeous), staff. The staff are very attentive and theres a quick service. Breakfast was perfect, we had dinner and in room dining service which was perfect and special. We used the gym ( excellent exercise machines) , rooftop pool was perfect with private shower rooms. The spa was amazing, we had a couples hammam. The only thing I'm not sure about is, wether guests can use the sauna and steam rooms as they are in the spa, we got to use it because we were clients there. We also loved the segregation in the spa. It was perfect, we wish we stayed longer, it felt like home, we will visit again in sha Allah. We booked 2 hotels; after we moved to St Regis and missed Steinberger so much, out of both hotels we loved Steinberger and wanted to return. Steinberger scored way better than a well-known hotel resort. Thankyou for taking care of us.
