The location is perfect as it is located ***** the Ganges River! You can see the Ganges River from the attached restaurant, and the food there was delicious! However, since it is located ***** the Ganges River, you cannot reach the hotel by rickshaw or taxi, so you will have to walk for a few minutes, but the journey is also exciting! The problem was that there were a lot of small insects like mosquitoes (?) in the room, but I was given an insect repellent machine at the reception.

Although you have to walk a lot fem main chowk to get here but thia is on ghat and close to vishwanath temple and amid-st the old varanasi. So its absolutely perfect. Tge customer service was awesome as well and the hotel has awes-trucking balcony to view ganga river anytime all the time. The staff were always ready to assist you cheerfully.

I booked for 2 night stay 22nd &23rd oct' 24 at hotel alka, varanasi, &, you offered me a room with a metress, but the room was to small, hotel management also surprised about this incident, the manager was present at that time on duty, he asked that i should get the room, that is alka deluxe room, but hotel offered me normal alka ac room, i tried to go for cancelation but i didn't get any option for cancel, it's very unfortunate, i hope that will give me return the extra amount you have taken from me otherwise i will go for legal step- thanks

No room service, no drinking water, and sometimes there was no water supply to the washroom. Room was small no window, filthy. It is not worth paying so much for the rooms provided by alka hotel, varanasi

Being located the ghats, there is no provision of reaching the hotel via cab, auto or anything else. This is a big problem when you travel with your parents. The hotel must mention that it's at a walking distance from the drop off point. You can't order food post 10-30pm.

There is no parking, no elevator. It’s hard for elderly people to reach there. Food is good though.

The location of this hotel has pros and cons it is very near to the kashi vishwanath temple with just 5 minutes walking distance and just at the bank of river ganges. You can take a bath any time it is just a two minute walking distance. But its major drawback is vehicle doesn't reach upto the hotel. It is located extremely interior with narrow lanes. One has to walk at least 25 minutes to reach the hotel. The bathroom is not ventilated and lacks exhaust, rooms are small.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is just in the bank of the river ganga. Food was ok though purely veg dish. Amenities were so so and the room service needs to be improved. Vishwanath temple & dashashwamedh ghat & meera ghat are within few minutes walking.

Best view n room, common bath is adjustable but the view is worth everything u need to walk 500mtr for reaching the hotel n every imp temple is very near don't listen to any auto person they look for their advantage call the hotel from the location the auto dropped the hotel will send boy for luggage ive experienced every facility they provided n i'm highly impressed
