First time I have stayed there hotel is beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It was a break for me and my wife as my mum passed 10 days ago and we wanted a break.
Nice big room shame no bath, only problem we were near the staff exit and heard noise till late and very early in the morning. I complained to receptionist and we have a discounted rate next time we stay.
Staff all very helpful and friendly.

Having to attend a business meeting, I decided to work from the hotel the day before and stay over night. Can't fault it! Beautiful hotel, great staff, great food and very attentive. Set up my laptop in the Brasserie, and no issues from the hotel. Had coffee and lunch, well looked after. The free upgrade to a Spa room was such a surprise and oh WOW! Made my day, week even. Already making plans to go back, non-work related. Dinner was served by a very attentive waitress, looking out onto the gardens on a sunny evening! The meeting room the next day, spacious, well equipped and refreshments and lunch spot on. In such difficult times, well done to everyone at the hotel, keep doing what your ding, it's amazing!

My wife and I was guests at a small family wedding here and we decided to stay the night. I can't recommend The Mount Pleasant Hotel enough. The quality of the food and our lovely comfy room made it a very enjoyable weekend. The staff was also very nice and very helpful. Our stay couldn't of been any better and we highly recommended this lovely hotel. We'll be back soon. Paul, Sheffield.

A family group stayed here for one night to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. It was my sister's choice of location as she has been before. It was lovely from the minute we walked in. Lovely surroundings, very stylish. Helpful attentive staff in all areas, reception, bar, restaurant. We had booked a meal for 7pm. The staff assisted with putting up a birthday banner, table confetti and balloons for when we arrived. My only complaint would be that the Roast of the Day was dry but it was coming to the end of service but still I think the last meal of the day should be as good as the first one they served. However, all other meals were very tasty and well presented.

4 night stay to celebrate our first trip back to UK in over 26 years. Truely outstanding service. A memorable stay for all the right reasons. Room was spacious and immaculate. Breakfast and dinner superb. Service was outstanding. Location perfect. Made our trip.
