Brilliant hotel clean everything you need staff absolutely amazing defo stop again

Booked a package for my wife's 70th special birthday upgraded to a suite overlooking the YWP. The hotel was our 2nd stay and is amazing. On our stay the hotel wasn't noisy. The room is spotless;y clean. The reception staff are friendly & amazing. I mentioned on booking it was my wife's special birthday, on arrival there were 2 small bottles of Prosecco. It's the little touches that mean a lot to guests. Well recommended.

Stayed at the hex hotel last night . It was a lovely room . The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very good . It was very clean and had well stocked tea and coffee facilities. It was quiet all night and that was perfect . All the staff were friendly and helpful

Great night away not the biggest room but the bed was super comfy my kids loved it there's even a mini fridge and a power shower reception were top class nice and quiet would definitely recommend staying bit pricey but that's normal overall give it a go

Was really looking forward to our visit but left disappointed. First of all the disabled parking is further from the hotel and the hotel car park could do with a couple of disabled spaces to accommodate for that. Great welcome at the hotel reception although seemed a little strange to be so far from the hotel and despite being given a telephone number for contact should we need it, it did make it feel like an Airbnb very remote at arms length. The hotel would also benefit from a twin room that is accessible as well as a double room or at least a zip bed that could be made in to 2 beds for different demographics. The room was modern in design with comfortable beds. I paid extra for a park view room which we kind of got we could see the park in the distance, however the main thing we could view was the large waste bins and all the strollers they hire. The only animal we could see was the spiders in the deep set letterbox windows and crows. Most disappointed when we paid for the view. Then we had a great day in the park and came back for the evening at 6pm everything closes except Evolution restaurant and the bistro and there is absolutely nothing to do other than eat and drink itvrather resembled a ghost town and seriously needs something even of it was just a singer to entertain , it could be amazing. Evolution was as it said an experience taking me back to rainforest cafe. Sadly until there is something to occupy you past 9 pm I don't think I would return, but as said earlier little things could make the place great for everyone and be a total gold mine for the owners.

Booked this as a birthday treat for m'lady as we could combine a night away with her love of zoos! In all honesty - a very strange setup as the reception is tucked away - well away from the hotel! We walked past it twice! However , once found, the staff were spot on, although it is a bit like walking into a cave! The hotel itself is the polar opposite! Bright and airy with some nice details in the foyer in the form of hologram projections and bespoke seating. Our room was on the second floor and faced into the park. The room itself was modern and extremely comfortable, although a little on the small side. Having said that , everything worked, including the layout with nice touches like the hidden mirror and hairdryer in the dressing table and the unique racking with the tea station, clothes storage, etc. Plus a nicely tucked away iron and ironing board. Bathroom was smart and functional - with a nice addition of mood lighting around the skirting boards - ideal for the 3am, half asleep trip to the toilet! Slept really well and a truly nice place to spend a night - not too sure about the random beanbag in the middle of the floor though!

Surprised to discover that this is in a zoo but when you get over that you quickly realise that the place is really good. Will definitely stay here again…. Even if they won’t let you ride the ferris wheel after hours. Staff are great, rooms are in great condition, foods decent
