No welcome, ridiculously small room, terrible bedding, no soundproofing. Insufficient shared shower. Minimum breakfast. In short, run away, this man is just there to make money

We arrived at the Bridges before the check in time so We accepted the room wasn’t ready. We leave the house and We came back at the time the host told us buy also in this case We had to wait. The room was very small and there was no wardrobe, only a plastic chair. The shared bathroom was ok. I asked two times an hair dryer because the host forgot to give it to me. He was kind but not well organised. Breakfast was good.

Had a very odd stay at this B and B. Arrived at 12.30pm and was meeting a friend in Donegal Town at 1.00pm. Steve the owner said the room was not ready, but we could put our bags in the room. The sun had come out and I had my toiletries in a plastic bag. I put on some sun cream and then went to meet my friend. We returned to the room about 3 hours later and the plastic bag with my toiletries were missing. I went to see Steve to ask where it was and he said he had thrown it out??? I had just bought a new tooth brush which he had taken out of the bag and I got back, but everything else was gone. He said he thought it had belonged to an Italian mother and daughter who had vacated the room. However, the bag included shaving foam, shampoo, deodorant, face wash, moisturiser and sun cream. Some of the products were expensive. I honestly did not believe his story. It made absolutely no logical sense to me. I told him that I wanted a full refund for the room. He agreed. However, the whole episode was bizarre. As a result I would not recommend the place.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Bridges B&B after an exciting but exhausting day of travel, and it turned out to be the perfect place to rest and recharge! A relaxed atmosphere, comfortable room, and delicious breakfast—couldn’t ask for more! Thank you very much, Steve!

Myself and my wife stayed at the bridges b&b on Saturday 27th August, the room was small with no tea and coffee facilities, the bed was a child's bed, toilet was filthy, next morning we arrived down for breakfast and after 5 minutes, the host came in and told us that he slept in and couldn't offer us a cooked breakfast only toast and tea, which we declined because the milk on the table was sour, we left immediately and feel very disappointed

Booked this B&B via ***********. We arrived at 1530 and couldn't get a response from the front door (the time window for check in 1300-2000) . We came back at 1730 and the door was answered but apparently the room wasn't ready. We were offered Tea (self services but it was hunt the tea bags/sugar). The host plonked the key on the table about 15 minutes later and advised the room was up the stairs, first on the left. We went to the room to find the blandest room with the poorest facilities including a PLASTIC GARDEN CHAIR. The bed linen smelt like someone had previously had slept in the bed and the it had been sprayed with the cheapest air freshener. The linen wasn't hotel standard, more like the cheapest in Dunn's store clearance and the towles looked like they had come from a charity shop. Not accustomed to these poor facilities, we took are bags down stairs to our car. Contact was made with the host who gloated that we wouldn't received a refund from ***********, before he SLAMMED THE FRONT DOOR IN MY FACE. What a Vile Man. Several calls to *********** and we are still out of pocket to the tune of over £100. Some of the 5 star reviews I believe are fake. The place is not fit for animals. I was too in shock to take any further photos which is rare.
