Cheerful Hotel（Hengdian World Studios Dream Valley Branch) Reviews

We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed "mountain view" room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. "Mountain view" and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

Had a really good time in Hengdian studios , unfortunately it rained for most of the time. This small hotel had a great bathroom and great service. We were looked after really well by the young owner of this hotel and are now friends. Considering we can hardly speak or understand Mandarin, the had a good time and was well looked after. We came from 3 different Shangrila hotels on this trip - Chengdu, Xian, Hangzhou, and I must say that Cheerful hotel Hengdian beat all of them. Well done Cheerful hotel !

It is quite close to Dream Valley, and it is quite convenient to take a taxi~ Facilities: All are good. It should be a newly renovated store. There is a little smell. You can open the exhaust in the room~ There are sensor lights under the bed and in the toilet. You don’t have to turn on the headlights or grope in the dark when going to the toilet at night~ The buttons on the bedside are also very convenient. The curtains can be turned on and off electrically, and the lights can also be controlled. However, there is no socket for the charging cable in my room, but there is one in my friend’s room. Fortunately, the front desk lady lent me a plug🔌 Environment: OK Service: Very good👍 Hygiene: The carpet is a little dirty, but everything else is OK.

The room is very nice and clean. The facilities are also new, and the newly renovated hotel is very complete! There is also a private underground parking garage! It is very comfortable to bring parents to play

Overall it's OK, the service is also good, it's very close to Qin Palace and Dream Valley, the Hanfu shop recommended by the hotel is also very good. The salted duck egg yolk for breakfast is very good.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Qin Palace scenic area, about 500 to 600 meters, and you can walk to the scenic area. The hotel has a dedicated underground parking lot. The parking lot takes the elevator directly to the guest room floor. It is very friendly to guests who drive and carry large luggage. Breakfast is from 7 to 9 o'clock, with a rich variety, basically everything you need. The guest room bathroom brand is TOTO, and the hygiene is good... The little beauty and handsome boy at the front desk have a good sense of service, are enthusiastic and cheerful, and must be praised! ! Finally, I strongly recommend the Jiangnan Renjia restaurant across the road from the hotel. It is opened by Dongyang locals. You can eat local specialties and the taste is good. The quality of the dishes is obviously different from the restaurants opened by Jiangxi people near the scenic area...

Breakfast is average, the environment is good, there is a small garden on the second floor, it is convenient to go to the scenic spot, the facilities are complete, there are a lot of insects, and I also encountered shooting nearby. The house is not big, but it is generally OK

The hotel is very nice, just opposite the Qin Palace and close to the Dream Valley Gate 1. There are three-bed rooms with large space. The breakfast is also delicious. It is great. If you don’t have enough water, you can ask the front desk for more. The hotel and the makeup shop have an agreed price of 130, which is 50 cheaper than the price outside, so you don’t have to bargain. They also give you eyelashes.

I got a free upgrade to a parent-child room. Although I came here with my girlfriend, the child room is useless, but I recommend parents to bring their children. I am very happy. It is very close to Dream Valley and Qin Palace. You can walk there. The room is clean. , the facilities are also very new! recommend

The room is spacious, clean and quiet, the service is friendly and thoughtful, the accommodation experience is very pleasant, the location is excellent, and it is very convenient and close to the three scenic spots. I will stay here again in the future.

A very good hotel. The room design is what I like. The Qin Palace and Qingming Shanghe Tu are very close to the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there. I recommend this hotel to visit Hengdian World Studios.

The bed in the double room is 1.5 meters in size. The mattress, quilt and pillows are so soft, and the experience is good. Breakfast is convenient. Breakfast is also available. The room is smart, with automatic curtains and toilet, and the space is quite large. The pillows are not as high as some hotels, so it is very comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and the fried rice is a bit hard. Overall, I'm still very satisfied!
