Such a great hotel! We really felt like we became part of the community. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and though there was no AC, we slept fine. The double bed is much more comfortable than the single. Parking was ample and right on site, not in a garage. Plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance, and about 10 minutes driving to the Cliffs of Moher.

We were not able to get a room at the Hotel Doolin and had to stay at the associated property across the street, Cullinan House. Our Room was badly in need of new furniture and carpeting. Beds were old and rickety, nightstand was very badly chipped and the carpet was stained. This room did not appear on the online photos for Cullinan House-beware of misleading photos. Walls are paper thin and we had rude and extremely loud neighbors on the other side of the wall. The bathroom was good but the rest of the room was dark, grim, and depressing. The beds were ancient and uncomfortable. The staff did their best to clean it but the overall feel is just old and worn out. The staff were pleasant and trying hard, but they need owners’ investment in property upgrades to make their jobs easier .That said, Dinner and breakfast at Glas restaurant were great. Next time we come to Doolin we will make sure to reserve a room in the main hotel early.

Hotel Doolin has a great location within walking distance to the Aran Islands ferry terminal, the Cliffs of Moher walking trail, and all the restaurants in town. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast menu, and other dining options, including an active and lively Fitz's pub. Great layout to the establishment, including numerous common areas in which to gather.

We attended a wedding on the 29th August, followed by a BBQ on the 30th August. The Venue was so well organised and perfect for a wedding. Would highly recommend it. From start to finish the staff were so nice and helpful. For me especially Marius and Aileen, but all staff are a credit to themselves and to Hotel Doolin. I could write so much about Hotel Doolin. Bottom line Perfect place to stay and have a wedding. Excellent, keep it up. Mark MacMahon.

What can I say about Hotel Doolin that hasn't already been said? The location is gorgeous, set just a 20 minute drive away from the cliffs of Moher. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by staff, checked in and given a quick tour of the venue as we were there for our best friends wedding. The rooms were clean, well lit and so comfortable, especially the beds! The lobby has a beautiful fireplace and the fire was on when we arrived. The hall where we sat for dinner was stunning. The food was divine. Everything about our stay there was such a delight, that I would highly advise anyone who loves comfortable hotels to make it a priority stay on your list! Thanks you guys again for such a wonderful time!

Great location for seeing all the sites in Doolin. Staff were extrenely friendlty and easy to communicate with prior to arrival. The cottage was well appointed and very nice for a family.
