Hotel location is lovely set off the road behind a riding school and the staff are friendly
You have to pay for your meals as you go along as you cannot add anything to your hotel bill.
Water, biscuits and face cloth were not consistently replenished

Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Beautiful garden area. The food was very tasty indeed. Impressed very much. Unfortunately the noise of noisy pipes every 40minutes or so affected my sleep. A sleepless night which ruined the experience.

We had our wedding and reception at Hogarth's, Laura and Jess were absolutely fantastic from the pre wedding meetings through to the day its self, the staff, the grounds, the food and the room were perfect, we had a brilliant day and can not thank the whole team enough, nothing was to much trouble and we were looked after with respect and consideration. thank you Hogarth's we will be back very soon. We held my daughter’s Baby Shower in the Board room on Sunday afternoon. It was just perfect. The room was beautifully laid out, and the staff so helpful. They couldn’t have done any more to look after us. The afternoon tea was lovely, with endless coffee and tea. I couldn’t fault it. It all felt very special. Just what I’d hoped for.

Visited with friends for lunch in the restaurant on several occasions over the years. For some reason this visit we used the Fixed Price Lunch Menu. We were all disappointed for the very tiny portions given for the price. Having 2 courses we were all still hungry. Should have realised as on a Saturday lunchtime it was completely empty in the restaurant. This restaurant used to be good quality and value for money. The desserts start at £10 going up to £15 for sticky toffee pudding ! a glass of wine over £15. It’s a shame as staff are very nice but a total rip off on prices for hardly anything on your plate.

We had our Wedding Breakfast last Thursday 6th June in the Boardroom at Hogarths and it was absolutely fabulous. The food was amazing and the service first class. Jess and her team couldn’t do enough for us and they made us and our guests feel truly special! Laura, who was our event planner was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. She guided us through all the planning so personally and professionally. To say it was the ‘perfect’ day is an understatement and we can’t recommend Hogarths highly enough. I had afternoon tea in the woods for my baby shower. The team were brilliant and had thought of every little detail, nothing was too much for them. We were a group of 19 with a variety of dietary requirements which were all catered for. The setting was beautiful and the afternoon tea and food was delicious.

Been going to Hogarths for many years now, but after my last visit I am in no rush to return They have introduced a new menu and I found the choices limited. Very expensive for what you got. I had a white wine spritzer and that was over £10. This used to be our go to restaurant for a special occasion with family and friends but to be honest nothing on the menu could be classed special. As a previous reviewer has mentioned the desserts are a ridiculous price. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely restaurant and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
