The hotel is located in one of those smart, stucco-fronted townhouses along the Promenade. It doesn’t provide any parking so you need to park either at the front (watch out for very restricted hours) or in the multi-storey car park at the back (but only free between 18:00 to 08:00!). The reception is at the end of the corridor, with a tiny lift to the left. The venue has undergone quite extensive renovation relatively recently so all looks clean and airy. Our spacious Junior Suite, on the first floor, was overlooking the sea from the large bay window. There was a big wardrobe, housing a broken safe box, with ample storage space. Bed was large and comfortable. The mod lighting added some great atmosphere in the evenings. The walls were a bit thin as we could hear our neighbours next door, far too easily. There was a tea and coffee-making facility and the minibar was replenished daily with basic snacks and drinks, including water, free of charge. WiFi signal was good. Bathroom was huge, with a free-standing bath tub and walk-in shower. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. Breakfast was rather basic and the cooked version quite tasteless. As the seating was rather limited, a queue formed around 9 am. We didn’t dine at the hotel though judging by the quality of breakfast, that may have been a good thing. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
