The most impressive thing in the hotel was the staff. Every single staff member was friendly and always able to help (from the people in the breakfast, the pool guys, the reception to the cleaners). Especially in the restaurant Kishan ( a lovely waiter) is always with a smile on the face ready to assist you. My room was every day clean and on the desk I had free hot beverage (coffee, tea). I loved my bed even my pillows.. so soft. The hotel is approx 12 min away from the centre by car, but thats no problem because the main transportation is the taxi in Dubai. For sure i will come back and I highly recommend this hotel especially to the women that travel alone. It feels very safe

We booked a staycation in Dubai to celebrate my birthday, hoping to enjoy some quality time together with my sister. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Rodel, who assisted us with our luggage. He was extremely polite and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the very start. However, our experience at the reception during check-in was extremely disappointing. When we approached Mr. Abdelrahman at the front desk, he requested our IDs. I provided my Emirates ID since the room was booked under my name. Unfortunately, my sister had forgotten her physical ID and asked if an electronic copy would suffice. He immediately said, “No.” She explained that she had forgotten her ID, and I asked what we should do since we had travelled all the way from Abu Dhabi. I asked if they would accept me but not my sister, what would be the point? His response was once again a firm, “No, we need a physical ID. We cannot do anything about that.” Despite our efforts to explain the situation, he remained unyielding, insisting that only I would be accepted and not my sister. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed, so I requested to speak with the manager. Abdelrahman continued with the check-in process without further engagement. When the manager arrived, he explained that while the protocol does indeed require physical IDs, they would make an exception this time. My sister acknowledged that it was her mistake not to bring her physical ID, but the way Abdelrahman handled the situation was far from satisfactory. His repeated refusals, without offering any alternative solutions, were disappointing—especially considering this is a 5-star hotel. Proper customer service, particularly in the hospitality industry, involves more than just saying “No.” It requires understanding, empathy, and a willingness to assist guests to the best of one’s ability. After check-in, we were assisted by Mr. Choi, who helped us with our bags and escorted us to our room. His professionalism and courteous demeanour were a complete contrast to our earlier experience. Mr. Choi, along with Mr. Rodel, Mr. Gaurav, and Mr. Rozaldo, truly stood out during our stay. They were all incredibly helpful, polite, and welcoming, and they deserve recognition for their excellent customer service. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but the check-in experience left a negative impression. I hope the front desk staff receive further training in customer service, particularly in terms of empathy and problem-solving. A simple “No” is not the answer to every situation, especially when guests are looking for assistance.

I really enjoyed Dubai and as usual I booked ibis hotel in Dubai as well . Convenient place for most tourists attraction places such as Dubai mall , financial centers, Emirates tower , Dubai future museum , Abu Dhabi …. Friendly staff ( Grace , yin )😻😻

It's a treat for myself going this hotel. It's yearly I stay here to give time for myself after or before celebrating my birthday with my friends. Working in Dubai for 11 years and I'm creating good memories here so I choose to invest happiness not money. It's my heart decision and I'm comfortable to Stay in this hotel. Very accommodating, staff are kind and they wake up me with a surprise cake.. I wont forget the memories and happiness I invest here. Being alone doesn't mean we are unhappy. Choosing to be happy is depend on us. Our self, our choice, our happiness. Thank you citymax for 1 night stay that fullfill my yearly goal during my birthday. I choose you because my heart choose it. Super stays à l'hôtel élément al Jaddaf, l'accueil est très conviviale, l'hôtel est propre, avec toutes les équipements nécessaires. L'hôtel dispose de 3 types de chambres: Studio avec la possibilité de 2 lits doubles. Apartments with 1 bedroom and a living room (2 bathroom) always 2 double beds. And finally, apartments 2 beds, (2 bathroom, sleeping possibility at 8). All rooms are equipped with a large refrigerator, washing machine, gasinery and all the kitchen equipment, hot and even vacuum washing equipment is also available a TV team of the chromecast to connect from its phone. The green line metrou is 5 minutes walking distance with the possibility of being put on a shuttle in front of the metro. The hotel is equipped with an open sports room 24h/24 and a swimming pool on the open roof up to 20h. Breakfast is varied (fresh fruit, eggs, juice, coffee, flavour, cheese, charcuterie) The hotel also has a shuttle available every day who will depose you at: - Dubai mall (7-10min) - The sea (strand) - Metro el Jaddaf (2min) There are several timetables for departure and return, it is not necessary to book the shuttle for use. We had travelled 15 days in Dubai er we made several hotels (to the Marina, in the center) but we returned here because we feel like at home!

Frequent visitor of this hotel because of its amazing location right next to Burjaman Mall and Metro station, Lulu super market and great number of other shops and stores. Though checkin is a bit slow process here but stay is nice.

I had an amazing one night stay at the QE2 - as a Brit now living in Austrália the QE2 has a special place in my heart - never as a Cunard ship could I have afforded travelling to New York - now I could and the ship is sparkling - the renovation is fantastic throwing you back to the heyday of her life - the service was fantastic the food and drink authentic and worth the stay! My wife says I better come back with her

One of the best places visited in dubai.....the room service was brilliant n kudos to Mohd Obaid....abit slow at the reception but overall nice ambiance n will visit again for sure. Loved the recreational centre but a request is please put a shade near the pool n extend the timing from 5.30 to atleast 9pm.
