The guy at the door is very helpful he was able to assist us weigh our bags and put them on the trolly for us! However they don’t assist you past the reception so if you have more than one bag and you’re alone good luck struggling. Also the reception don’t let food deliveries go to your room they are forced to call you and if you don’t answer they will force the delivery person to take the food away

A nice, clean and comfortable hotel, 10 minutes walk to metro, 5 minutes to shopping mall. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly staff, especially from the security guard who always greeted us with a smile in the morning.

I was in the tour from 22nd December to Sri lanka and Dubai and planned to stay at Gulf star from 26th December 2019 and booked room well in advance . But on 23rd December gulf star hotel cancelled my room stating there is a maintenance work and I was in great stress as i was touring with my family . From 23rd December my total program was collapsed due to this and I am not able to enjoy the trip. On 26th after check in to other hotel I went to Gulf Star hotel to know the exact thing. Lot of tourists were waiting there as the the hotel cancelled many. The Gulf Star hotel cancelled all booking done earlier and RE-BOOKED all the rooms FOR VERY HIGH RATES as it was year end and lot of tourists were waiting for rooms. And there was NO MAINTENANCE WORK as told by them for cancellation. THEIR MOTIVE IS ONLY FOR HIGH RATES and they left us in great trouble and stress. 01. GULF STAR HOTEL TOTALLY SPOILED MY TOUR PROGRAM AND WASTED ALL MY MONEY. 02. They should be BLACK LISTED and to be PUNISHED. 03. They must be watched not to enter the online booking. And finally GULF STAR HOTEL AND THE MANAGEMENT IS ONE OF ” THE WORST IN THE WORLD.” Ganesh J

I bought a studio apartment for 4 nights, its a perfect hotel apartment to stay in in this economical price! Room was good enough for 2 people and a toddler. Amenities are very new specially love their smart tv with youtube netflix etc Pool is good and they give u covered parking as well Food is really good but a bit high price So i wld give 4.5/5 stars ⭐️

A very basic hostel in a good location - does what it says on the tin but don't expect anything remotely glitzy. Very simple! Also kinda hard to find - no signage - ask security for the unit number

Very nice warm pool on the roof. Location close to metro and restaurants. Huge minus cockroaches. If you ask, then the staff treats with a spray and the cockroaches disappear. Twice asked to process. Then the cockroaches reappeared and for the third time they did not come to process. The bathroom is filthy, it feels like they don't clean the floor at all. If cleanliness were added to these apartments, then they would be ideal for such money.

stayed here few months back but it was a great place especially if you don't like a noisy place .Price was supper good so it suits those with tight budget. Very close to bus terminal so transportation is fine.

Good Facilities, The room is spacious and clean, and the impeccable service and hospitality of the staff made the retreat most enjoyable. , recommended

It's good hotel for hourly or one day stay. I chose it for a one day stay. A hotel with decent amenities, good cleanliness and good customer service. They provide you with a decent sized bathroom as well. Personally i expected it to be cleaner but since i didn't have to stay for longer it didn't bother me. Overall i would rate it a 7. Their check in procedures were smooth and faster as well.

Check in time at 2pm; I arrived by 3pm and still was asked to wait around 20 minutes Small room; AC not cooling enough; The mini ref not working ; The main mirror worn out; The TV no clarity signal in all channels Headboard light not working Sheet and pillows needs changing; The beds creak; The toilet sink is in front of the toilet bowl; Leaking ceiling in front of bathroom area in the morning; The corridor smells like tobacco;
