The Grand Canal was clean. Everything was fresh, appeared it had been updated recently. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good.

We arrived here after midnight, but they have 24 hour staff, so no problem. We had a layover in Dublin and this hotel was much more affordable than a hotel near the airport, even when coupled with the cost of a taxi. Clean modern rooms. No problems. And it's really not that far from the airport anyway. So for our purposes it was a good choice.

We had a great stay. Very friendly staff and convenient hotel location for our departure and return on our Vagabond tour. The only negative if there is one is that it's not in the heart of Dublin downtown where a lot of the tourist attractions, shopping, etc. is. But a quick cab ride fixes that.
