Location is nice, right on the beach. Close to Dubrovnik, bus stop is right across the street, but buses get quite full in summer so we mainly used Uber which was only a few € more. On-site restaurant is not good. Many stairs, no elevator

Managed well with all the facilities, loved the breakfast which was prepared based on our choice..enjoyed the stay with kids.

Had a great little trip to Dubrovnik with my Son, I wanted sun sand and sea and he wanted game of thrones so we picked this hotel. Right on the beach that offers water sports and close to bars and restaurants including a cool cave bar and only a fifteen min bus ride to the old town. Perfect for the best of both worlds. As you can see the room had an amazing view. Worthy to note, the music from the cave bar until about midnight could be heard from the room, along with the waves of the sea.

Nice location with the direct access to the beach and good views in the Resturant.

The hotel is located in a very good place. Some rooms have a sea view. Hotel with access to a pebbly beach.

From the photos I saw on the Internet, the hotel door seems to be on the side of the road, which looks more convenient, but the result is completely different in the field. It is very inconvenient to walk down 20 or 30 steps. The hotel service is OK, the room is relatively small, and the breakfast is rich.

It is a little far from the old town of Dubrovnik, so if you want to go to the old town, we recommend using a local bus. It's easy to find as it runs in front of the hotel.

Old facilities and small rooms

Accommodation was clean and quiet with good facilities. Location is convenient on the bus 4 route to the Old City, on the water with stone beach and close to restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great beach access. Helpful staff. Older property, but overall not bad place to stay. I don't recommend the restaurant. It was not good.

The bed is very very old, so are the pillows etc. AC dis not work. Location and bay is excellent. Sad hotel it needs improvement

The hotel is well located, only a 10 mins bus ride to the old town. They are on the beach and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the hotel needs a major renovation. It looks a little run down, the walls are so thin that you can hear people coughing in the next room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I was looking for a place to stay alone for 3 days between a family trip and an 18 day tour I was taking. This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view and at a very reasonable price. The room was small but very functional and I’m so glad I paid for a room with a balcony and view. Interestingly, the guests were mostly Europeans – I seemed to be the only American so I want to encourage more to try this spot.. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. I opted for full board breakfast and dinner included and it did not disappoint. Plenty of options! Additional drinks were very reasonable. However, when I realized how many restaurants were a short walk away down the lovely promenade which went all the way around the bay, I would’ve opted to have tried dinner elsewhere as well. The restaurant staff was efficient but rather brusk and not that friendly - except for Mario! This young man was friendly and kind and made me feel less out of place while dining alone. It made a big difference to feel welcome especially while dining alone. Thank you Mario! Bottom line – Hotel Vis was an excellent value. The views were fabulous, the beach very accessible (bring flip flops for sure) and the seaside promenade perfect for a long gorgeous walk past many restaurants, hotels, and swimming spots.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Breakfast variety was good. Clean and spacious room. Only issue is there is not a ramp for taking luggage in and out of property.
