Buza House

My stay at the B and B Buza house was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone- especially solo female travellers and anyone who does not want to get bed bugs. I am a well travelled woman with experience in staying in a variety types of accommodations. I booked the “Deluxe Queen Room” for 3 nights and was looking forward to my stay based on my research online. Upon arrival, I was told that the room I had booked was not available due to no power but that that I’d be able to move into the room the following day. My follow up request to move into my proper room was ignored the following day and it was actually given to someone else! I did not receive any type of reimbursement for the price difference in my downgrade. The room I was given was barely large enough to fit a bunk bed and was literally crumbling apart. The window was hanging off 1 hinge, there was exposed parts of the walls with nails and the door barely locked. It could have easily been pushed open based on the lack of support around the lock. There was no bathroom, I had to share a bathroom with 4 strange men which was located outside of my room. It was filthy, covered in black mould and not safe. The B and B was difficult to find due to lack of signage and there was very poor customer service. There was no breakfast provided (as advertised). In addition, I am covered in bed bug bites from head to toe. Stay clear of this accommodation, there are many other places to stay in this beautiful town.
