3-Star Hotels in Dubrovnik

My boyfriend and I stayed in Kamara for 4 nights in August and it was absolutely perfect. Incredible location, 15-20 minute downhill walk to the city walls of dubrovnik. The 4 bus is just outside too if you’re feeling lazy too, only a euro or two. The room was SPOTLESS, modern, the air conditioning worked like a charm and it was very quiet and in a lovely area. Highly recommend going to Bellevue beach, literally only 5-7 minute walk from Kamara and is honestly the nicest beach I’ve ever been to in my life. Thank you so much to the lovely Nina who greeted us and recommended some great places to go during our time in Dubrovnik. Would definitely stay there again. Stayed in room S3!

30 mins from airport, small hotel overlooking pebble beach (sand shoes required due to sea urchins), this small hotel delivers a quiet ambiance, rooms are dated and small but the area is well worth it. You are a few minutes away from the beach and numerous restaurants, the food was buffet with a small selection of ok food, with at least 4-5 main course meals and a standard range of puddings. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The best shop is up the hill and turn left, it's a big b&m type supermarket, check out the cakes. Bring your own kettle. Any questions you ask I will do my best.

Less than two kilometers from the old city, the environment is general, but the traffic is OK, there is a bus to the Junlin City at the door, cheap, Junlin City is a very expensive accommodation, this price can not ask too much.

The service couldn't be any better. Hostel Angelina apparently have 6 locations (unbeknownst to us at the time) and we arrived at the northern building late at 10 pm after the reception had closed, despite having a reservation at the southern pa. Nonetheless, we managed to notify someone, we were then let in and checked in properly, even though we were at the wrong location. There were free beds, so despite our mistake everything was fixed for us. The receptionist was even off-hours but helped us out anyway. Thanks so much!

Hotel Ivka is close to the city walls and 2.3 km to the city walls tour and the old town, though its 20 km from Dubrovnik airport towards the city. The first impression of the hotel is that it is clean and tidy. The room is spacious and bright for a hotel. Best of all, the breakfast is awesome. It's the best among the 18 days after entering Europe.. The food cooked with vegetables is really delicious. everything is satisfactory Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Brilliant location on beachside / rocks with steps into the sea. Perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Great beach bar. The hotel itself is quite basic- not really luxury There is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up 3 flights if you're on the top floor! It has an old fashioned door key x 1. No te or coffee making facilities but this may be the norm in Croatia. Breakfast was good. The evening meal was okay for one night but very limited for my husband who is vegetarian so we only ate there one night. The staff were efficient but not so friendly. We found Ana really helpful for advice , directions etc. We checked out in the morning ING and travelled onto a villa in split. My husband realised he left a lovely Lacoste white shirt folded up in the white wardrobe shelf. On realising this I emailed the hotel group directly ( a day after deoartute) . They have not responded!! And I telephoned customer services for the hotel group from split. The woman I spoke to listened to me and advised she would call me back and repeated my mobile number back...... I am still waiting for a reply to my email and the phone call was never returned over one week ago now. I had offered to transfer money for postage and packing. We left some euros as a tip for the room cleaner..... perhaps she is happier with the Lovely Lacoste shirt we left behind instead. I'm very dissatisfied that no one has returned my call - very unprofessional.

I think it's great for a short stay. Check-in is easy, you don't have to meet anyone, and the location is great.

Apartment: Extremely clean and directly overlooking the Adriatic. You can rely on the pictures from the website. We rented apartment #2 Lavender. Microwave, coffee machine, fridge, stovetop and all good quality ustensiles/pots to prepare a vacation quality meal. We did not use the Air Conditioning due to confortable weather and breeze from patio doors, during this period. TV is also provided. We did not explore, we were at location to enjoy the patio and Adriatic. Table is available inside and on the patio with umbrella provided. Beautiful sun all day and sunset. Good size bathroom We already knew that apartment provided 1 bedroom with 2 single beds plus a couch to be opened in the living room. Not an issue for us. On vacation, we are very relaxed customers. Free parking space provided by the apartment. Location: Residential or an oasis of quietness in the turbulent (very?) Dubrovnik. Walking to old town could be between 15 - 25 minutes, depending on individual. Very agreeable walk with interesting Adriatic views along the way, charming old houses with beautiful cascading flowers. We walked slowly and took some pictures of sceneries...what is the rush? Once you leave the apartment street and turn for the Old Town, there are 3 large hotels (with all amenities and taxi stand) 2 corner store groceries and 1 local bakery with long opening hours. Near Pile Gate (Old Town Entrance), there is a very good bakery with all types of fresh sandwiches available. Restaurants nearby: We went to Pizzeria El Toro twice. Good menu choice, indoor or outdoor seatings. Very good service, wine, beer and food. We eat fresh SeaBass grilled perfectly with fries. We did not try the restaurant facilities of nearby hotels. Magellan Restaurant and Caffee Bar was recommended. But we did not try. With the exception of Old Town or major hotels, Dubrovnik does not offer many sea view local restaurants. Madonna restaurant is also very good in Lapad area. Not walking distance from Kate’s place and no sea view. However, next to a Mega Kozum, where you can pick-up variety of groceries for a longer stay. Lapad area has more hotels and apartments. Otherwise, nothing special and very far from Old Town. Transportation is required. Mrs Kate: Great host. Always available but never intrusive. Very dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. Welcoming with beverage of your choice, Dubrovnik map review and a constant source of local information. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on our terrace the last night together at her invitation and truly enjoyed her company. GRUZ Bay: Port of arrival for cruise ships. Lots of coffee bars, banks, restaurants, Mega Pemo Grocery store. Very lively and more local then tourist. We walked from apartment. 30-45 minutes each way. Not recommended, if you do not wish to explore or enjoy walking, like we do. Surprisingly, nothing special in this area. We were glad that we had elected not to rent an apartment in this area. So I picked this place randomly when I decided to visit Dubrovnik recently. I not only enjoyed these apartments, but actually had the opportunity to view three different ones. The first was rather small - but very cool due t rocks from the hillside making up one of the walls. Unfortunately, the temperature was not cool because the A!C in that unit was broken. I was moved to a two bedroom (which I didn’t even realize because I didn’t open an extra door). It had a living room and small kitchenette. I had to move for the last night - and it was to a larger one bedroom which also had a kitchenette and spiral stairs leading up to the bedroom. In addition to totally meeting my travel needs, the place was spotless. Moreover, the owners, Dino and his daughter Mia were most pleasant to deal with. Best of all was the location. Literally steps to the Old Town Gate and a few pebbly beaches - one of which has X-Adventures Kayaking - which I also highly recommend. So yes - stay here if you are one or a small group or family! I would not recommend for mobility impaired as there are a lot of steps both getting to and at the apartment. One more bit of advice - call Dino upon your arrival by the bus station/gate. It can be difficult to find on your first try due to the small, winding streets.
