Best Hotels near Chinese Bell Church, Dumaguete

This hotel exceed my expectation....above standard wow All staff will greet you with happy and heartily mabuhay!!!! Frontdesk super friendly and accommodating with all the details provided Room cleaners are very good and friendly Security are very helpfull all the times with smile and greetings... Super happy with the stay.....

Staff was very friendly and genuine. Breakfast was also really great with 3 options (continental, American and Filipino). There was also possible to adjust a bit like stronger coffee, less baked bacon or 1 egg only. Furniture and decoration is also very beautiful. I also really appreciated the cleaning staff to put of their shoes/slipper when entering the room for cleaning. If I can make a few improvements it is. Bed cover was only 1 sheet. A blanket or a more thick bed cover would be nice. More variety in fridge like cola, diet coke or sprite More punctual in coffee sachets refills and towels (if one is on the ground placed for replacement. But overall it was good value for money Staff always smiled and was friendly. Location is also great. Close to boulevard and 50’meter swimming pool is only 20’minutes walking distance. Don’t forget to give the small local restaurants a try. I really enjoyed the Dumaguete experience also because of you 🙏

We stayed here for over a week. The hotel is simple but very clean. Rooms are ample in size. WiFi is strong. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. It’s location is also great since it’s near restaurants and groceries. Great for business travelers or folks looking for a nice safe place to stay while visiting Dumaguete. Easily accessible to public transportation but also with ample parking if you have your own vehicle.

A pleasant hotel to base ourselves for 4 nights to do the whale shark watching and the canyoneering. The large sliding door wardrobe was great to store all our luggage and belongings out of the way. The free secure parking was great for our hire car which we needed to access restaurants. The last dinner order at Eden was taken at 6.00 p.m. The beach was rocky and unappealing for a swim, but the infinity pool was great. Views were spectacular and we highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! It's in the town centre near Macdonald's, Jollibee and Lee plaza and others, it's ok we stayed because we had an early flight, there is a lift to the floors of your room. You can get drinking water and hot water on the third floor, it's basic but the bed was comfortable and air-conditioning in the room's, it was ok for us but the desk staff looked miserable, maybe if they smiled their face would crack, very rare to see miserable looking staff

I love this place. The rooms are very clean and cozy. We were very comfortable here during our stay because the atmosphere here is so relaxing. The color combinations of the rooms are just adorable. And the price is just right. The hand-painted murals are simply beautiful. It gives an ambiance of blissful serenity to the place. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Try their Chinese dimsum. You will definitely love it. I’m coming back here for sure.

The location of the hotel is good, not far from the biggest shopping mall. And the price is super high, the hotel sanitary facilities feel very good. It is more cost-effective than living in Bohol before. Staff service is ok

For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.

Gee! This is one of those places that are reviewed at FIVE STAR and you go to find out… they really deserve it! I LOVE this place! The front desk staff REALLY set the mood for any stay, and these ladies REALLY warm your hearts with genuine smiles, humorous wit, complete professionalism, and charming & welcoming personalities! A1, 100% could not be any better. First class. The best! The names I most recall are Ariane & Jora, as they truly practice excellence in this sometimes difficult profession. The rooms are soooooooo clean! So to all the unnamed people who do this job, THANK YOU! They have a breakfast served almost all day, plus a lite menu. Delicious, affordable, and prompt. As they say this province, it’s LAAMI KAAYO! Great fresh smoothies too! The owner is a pure Filipino corporation, so no weird overseas influences. I like that. Plus the have a meeting/banquet facility, beautiful swimming pool although I didn’t try it out, great lobby, and I think 28 overall rooms. The only thing I hope…. Is after all these well-deserved 5-STAR ratings, please don’t raise prices! I will come here again and again and again. Truly love this place! Home away from home.
