Best Hotels near Rizal Boulevard, Dumaguete

The environment is good and the rooms are great. I am especially happy to see the welcome sign on the bed. There are deep diving projects. The venue is slightly smaller, but unfortunately the black sand. Remember to bring your own beach slippers. Convenient by car, there are only dozens of peso from the airport to the hotel by bus, and there are many trains. In the words of the locals, don't worry, many bus here, you just stand and wave your hands~

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! I love this place. The rooms are very clean and cozy. We were very comfortable here during our stay because the atmosphere here is so relaxing. The color combinations of the rooms are just adorable. And the price is just right. The hand-painted murals are simply beautiful. It gives an ambiance of blissful serenity to the place. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Try their Chinese dimsum. You will definitely love it. I’m coming back here for sure.

A pleasant hotel to base ourselves for 4 nights to do the whale shark watching and the canyoneering. The large sliding door wardrobe was great to store all our luggage and belongings out of the way. The free secure parking was great for our hire car which we needed to access restaurants. The last dinner order at Eden was taken at 6.00 p.m. The beach was rocky and unappealing for a swim, but the infinity pool was great. Views were spectacular and we highly recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel is not very close to the dock, the boss is a German, the environment is comfortable and clean, the staff inside is really good, the people are particularly good and special and responsive, the hotel meal tastes good. We came back from Oslob because of the next night's flight. Because there is no place for the Duma to go, after checking out, the hotel is still outside the room for an afternoon to take a bath and eat. The trip to the Philippines has lived in three hotels. It was the most satisfying one. The sister who checked in at the front desk gave a hug and felt very sad that they were really attentive. 10 points recommend that everyone to go to the Duma to live this house will not be disappointed, if you have the opportunity to go again, you will definitely live here.

One word to describe Bluewater Sumilon Island would be PARADISE! We were greeted by a mild-mannered receptionist (if i remember it right, Kevin) before we hopped on the boat. Sit on the first row, if you wish to enjoy the water splashes. We didn't mind as we were still wearing our swimmers from our whaleshark experience. We got there about 1pm, the room was ready about 3pm, but no trouble, because we enjoyed alone time in the infinity pool, took a nap on the daybeds, enjoyed a ”must order” halo halo on a buko, and fruit smoothies! What makes this place awesome is the staff, from the pool guy who picks up every leaf falling on the water, to the porters who helped our bags, to the friendly people at the reception and the dining area, even the nice ladies at the Amuma lounge. William's smile and attentive service is really heart warming. I'm not surprised why he's popular! Security is spot on! My husband flew a drone in front of our room and was told off 10 seconds later, which we are ok to abide. When snorkelling, I highly recommend getting a guide to the marine sanctuary. It's so worth it! It's good that the guides protect the sanctuary. There are only areas where you can snorkel, but plenty of fish, corals and clown fish. We stayed in premier deluxe room, which was very spacious, closest to the sandbar and best spot to watch the sunrise. Buffet dinner and breakfast are really good with plenty of options. Highly recommend, but would stay for more than 1 night next time.

Last minute rented this place out because I needed a place to stay close to the Oslob Whale Shark Watching and it was one of the best decisions made. It was only a 3 minute car ride away. I was with my family and we rented the 8 beds (4 bunk beds) room. Room was clean, cold, and comfortable. Price came with breakfast too. Definitely worth your money.

Comment peut on garder un souvenir désagréable d'un joli petit hôtel ? Très récent, propre et bien agencé ( manque un ascenseur ) Jolie chambre et déco agréable... Personnel appliqué bien qu'un peu inexpérimenté .. Mais alors ? que se passe t il ? Il est nécessaire de remplir une fiche ( un peu brouillonne ) chaque fin de journée pour le breakfast du lendemain ...( il y a deux formules ) Et immédiatement, le matin, jaillit la question : Jus de fruit OU café ? Eh bien nous prenons les deux ! Ce n'est pas possible ... etc .. Un des deux est donc facturé en sus ... ( le plus cher, évidemment ) Impossible d'obtenir de ”vrais” œufs durs ... c'est du ”mollet” un peu... mou ! Au bar, il est possible d'obtenir seulement une imitation de ”mojito” ...mais de toute façon, ils n'ont pas de menthe ... Et surtout, au moment du check-out, la liste des suppléments est là .. le jus de fruit, bien sûr, mais aussi les bouteilles d'eau qui étaient dans la chambre ( gratuites et renouvelées partout ailleurs ) et jusqu'aux ”sticks” de café présents dans la chambre aussi ...le tout dans une ambiance suspicieuse.. Dommage ...

Gee! This is one of those places that are reviewed at FIVE STAR and you go to find out… they really deserve it! I LOVE this place! The front desk staff REALLY set the mood for any stay, and these ladies REALLY warm your hearts with genuine smiles, humorous wit, complete professionalism, and charming & welcoming personalities! A1, 100% could not be any better. First class. The best! The names I most recall are Ariane & Jora, as they truly practice excellence in this sometimes difficult profession. The rooms are soooooooo clean! So to all the unnamed people who do this job, THANK YOU! They have a breakfast served almost all day, plus a lite menu. Delicious, affordable, and prompt. As they say this province, it’s LAAMI KAAYO! Great fresh smoothies too! The owner is a pure Filipino corporation, so no weird overseas influences. I like that. Plus the have a meeting/banquet facility, beautiful swimming pool although I didn’t try it out, great lobby, and I think 28 overall rooms. The only thing I hope…. Is after all these well-deserved 5-STAR ratings, please don’t raise prices! I will come here again and again and again. Truly love this place! Home away from home.

For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.
