The hotel is in a great location being in the CBD. It was clean and the breakfast was great.

It’s pretty gud, but wine glasses seriously the size of a port glass , no one on reception or bar or restaurant or phone so

The hotel has a good location, very central. Settlers museum, Park, everything is quite reachable. Also, functional and clean. Not very new I think. The breakfast is okay, english breakfast with a bit of fresh fruit, muesl iand yogurt, you could probably get something better outside for less than 30NZD, just not buffet. All in all, recommended but not outstanding.

Nice hotel, slightly old and interior could be modernised. Really good location and around a 5 min walk to the main walking street, within 10 min walk off all main places - bus stops, eateries etc. Staff were very nice and helpful, room facilities were good. Though when we arrived there was empty alcohol tins on the balcony and also no shower gel or soap had been filled. Overall would stay here again

Good value stay with breakfast included. Parking is limited but there are roadside parking which is free from 6.00pm to 9.00am next morning

Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin is located in the city center. You don't need to drive to travel. You can visit the surrounding cathedrals, train stations and museums in seven or eight minutes on foot. It is also very convenient to eat out. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is located at a relatively high position with a good view. Most rooms have mountain and city views. The hotel provides breakfast with many choices and will not disappoint you. The hotel staff is very friendly. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time. I didn't hold out hope and just wanted to store my luggage temporarily. I didn't want to ask, but the hotel staff immediately checked me in. What made us even more grateful was that because we left the hotel in a hurry, we forgot to bring the small bag containing our passports, which contained the passports of our group of 3 people and a mobile phone. When we drove for more than 3 hours to Queenstown, the manager of Kingsgate Hotel called me and found out about this. They actively assisted and sent it to our hotel in Queenstown by express delivery, and we received it the day before we left. If we don't have a passport, the trouble is unimaginable. It will be a nightmare for us, not to mention the journey to Australia below, even entering and leaving New Zealand and even China is very troublesome! Thank you very much for the help of Kingsgate Hotel! We are grateful and would like to express our experience here, hoping that it will be widely known and that future travelers will choose them and support them. Good deeds will eventually be rewarded! It's too old, and the ceiling is creepy 😱, the location is good

Very good! The scenery is amazing! The breakfast is also delicious! I saw the beautiful sunrise that morning, the scenery is really beautiful! The front desk service is also very good! High cost performance!

All aspects are good, but the hotel does not have the so-called three meals now, only breakfast. Later, Ctrip's service was great and helped solve this problem. The rest of the hotel is very clean and you can see the scenery of the town.
