Lovely place with central Asian vibe of Gobi desert in the room interior. Quite welcoming, generous and careful employees of Hotel. Breakfast in winter is served on tray without choice but seems you can have buffet at summer. Spacious newly build hotel with good ambiance.

Lovely hotel which was recently opened. if you don't have private transportation, then you will need to call a taxi to reach the hotel from night market but it's only a 10mins drive. great staff and good stay.

You can also store luggage, and there is a humidifier, which is really good.

The hotel is well decorated and the off-season price is OK, but it is a little far from the main city. It is not convenient to park when driving to the city. It is still a bit far, especially now that it is very cold outside.

In winter, I took guests from other places to Dunhuang to see the scenery of Gansu. I am from Jiuquan. I thought the hotel was good looking from the appearance and pictures. However, in the winter, when the temperature was minus 20 degrees, there was no guarantee for the most basic heating. The air conditioner could only circulate the air, and the indoor temperature was only 16 degrees. In the end, I had to use a heater to keep warm in the room. The hotel lobby was even colder. It was said that there was floor heating, but the floor tiles were all cold. Including going to Xiajiahezhi for dinner, the digital hall of Mogao Grottoes, and even to the high-speed rail station, the temperature in the station was only 3 degrees. Only Dunhuang Bookstore had heating throughout the whole journey. I don’t know if it was because of the off-season or what. There were not many tourists in the scenic area. Is this how Dunhuang receives foreign tourists? I asked the taxi driver and the heating at home was enough. In the summer, I was still bragging to my friends that it was more orderly than Qinghai. I didn’t expect that this off-season was really shocking!
