We spent 4 lovely relaxed days at Shian cottage guest house with our perfect hosts Sheila and Adrian. Sorry Sheila but Adrian’s breakfast was to die for !! What a spotlessly clean and comfortable, make yourself at home house it was .My wife is not a dog lover but they were kept away at all times and never allowed to enter the lounge . I thought they were beautiful and well cared for dogs ! It was our wedding anniversary and we were given a lovely present from our hosts . Anyone looking for a quiet few days in a good central location then go to Shian Cottage you will be made so welcome . Jim &Dorothy Taylor

The house is a gem, beautifully furnished. The room was too welcoming and the bathroom, just outside the room, well furnished and with a very inviting bathtub! Not to mention Sheila and Adrian, two exquisite and truly kind people. The best discovery of the holiday!

Don’t worry, dogs are not within the guest areas, however, we were allowed to meet and greet them and they are just lovely. Adrian, our host, was very helpful, friendly and not intrusive. We ended up having lengthy conversations because we chose to. The room we had, upstairs, was just beautiful. Comfy bed, warm and very clean, as was the rest of the house. We used the main sitting room which was spacious, warm and very comfortable with plenty of space to sit. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. It is beside a road but this was not noisy or particularly busy. The breakfast was cooked beautifully, plenty to eat and not greasy as some can be. We chose our breakfast the night before along with the time we wished to have it. There were lovely cereals and yogurt on offer which we declined as the cooked breakfast was quite enough. Thank you for a lovely stay Adrian and especially for the cuddles from the hairy gang, it made my trip! 5 stars and would not hesitate to recommend! Jill
