Durango Spa Hotels

Highly recommend. We were completely happy with our stay. The pm and am desk clerks were both very polite and helpful, the room was very clean and was much larger than we expected. Everything seemed fairly new, and the room even included a small sofa! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the towels were nice and fluffy. There was a grassy area just outside the motel that was perfect for walking my pup, and the area even included doggie waste bags and a convenient trash can. Breakfast offered the usuals, plus pancakes! We would definitely stay here again.

Walk back in time. Beautifully restored 1887 hotel. Front staff very helpful and wanting to make sure you have a good experience. Even though the hotel seemed very full, the room was quiet. Perhaps the walls in swell hotels were better built in the past than contemporary hotels. Free parking across the street with a provided pass. Don't pass up the self guided tour of memorabilia displays. Purchase the book on the hotel for a very good history of the town and hotel.

When I was looking for a Hilton near Durango, Co. I was pleasantly surprise to find there are 3. One at the South end, one in the middle and one at the North end. The North one, Hampton Inn, was most convenient for us. It was everything I've come to expect from a Hilton. Spacious room. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. Excellent service from the staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Great location. Keep up the great work.

Everyone was super nice......especially Kara.....sweet lady who loved to offer her advice on the town and what to do. She was also so patient with everyone during breakfast. Some guests came in after 9 and she didn't rush them to eat and just said, if u need anything just let me know and I'll get for u or help urself thru the door. That was soooooooo nice.

There were some housekeeping issues and the front desk staff seemed very surprised so I think these will be dealt with and everything will be ok. On the plus side the shower has awesome water pressure, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. TV volume was great for us old timers. The shampoo and conditioner are the type attached to the wall and it smelled so good. We travel a LOT for work so my suggestion before unpacking is to check TV works/toilet is good/shower is good/AC is good. These weren't the issues with this hotel but in general it will save time especially if you are exhausted. There is a microwave and fridge. They were OUT of coffee when my husband went down to get it for me. Finally new coffee was brought out and it was very weak. We owned a hotel that was very successful and I knew that coffee is a BIG deal. That is NOT something to skimp on. The location was great. Get there early as parking can be an issue especially if you have a larger vehicle like we did. I review a LOT of hotels world wide and restaurants. This is a fine place to stay but just check out the things you will be needing to use while there. Hotel staff was excellent.
