Imagine paying for a suite and getting a regular room instead. The hotel downgraded my room for the first night and refused to compensate me. They said they couldn't refund the difference, but after I insisted, they finally refunded a small amount. During my attempts to resolve the issue, one of their representatives was extremely rude.

Modern hotel but the service at reception was incredibly slow. If they were efficient it would have made my stay far more enjoyable

Tienen un servicio al cliente muy malo. Nos dieron llaves para entrar al cuarto hasta las 10 pm porque no estaba limpio cuando el check in supuestamente es a las 3 pm. Preguntamos por lugares para ir a cenar el domingo en la noche y su respuesta fue que todo estaba cerrado; había una gran cantidad de lugares abiertos.

stayed for 3 nights with a group of lads (14 of us) for my sons bachelor. Check in took a little while, probably due to the size of our group but overall service was good. I stayed in a city room 225 which was quiet (well away from the night tram others have mentioned). Room was clean with tea & coffee making facilities and a pay bar, housekeeping was good each day. Downstairs bar was our meeting point where the beer was good (6 euros like the rest of the city) and the staff were smiling and efficient. Location excellent - a short walk through the lovely park to the old town, also only 15 minutes from the airport. Would have given it 5 stars but they failed to respond to an email I sent prior to our arrival

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Park, die Stadtmitte und die Altstadt sind gut fussläufig zu erreichen.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 9. Etage mit Level Zugang. Der Level Bereich ist hervorragend und es gibt einige leckere Snacks und die Getränkeauswahl ist auch sehr gut.
Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt, die Hotelangestellten waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
Wir freuen uns wenn wir wieder nach Düsseldorf kommen und werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort nächtigen.

Bonito hotel de la cadena Meliá ubicado a tan solo 15 minutos caminando del centro de Dusseldorf junto a un bonito y cuidado parque. Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Personal muy atento y amable. Desayuno buffete con amplia variedad y calidad tanto en dulce como en salado aunque algo escaso para celiacos.

We went here for 2 days. The location is very good. About 10 minute walk to the city centre, and restaurants, shopping. Good neighborhood too. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bar on the ground floor is nice. The staff was very good there. There was a bug in our room, a flying one. I took photos and showed it at the reception and all they could do was shrug their shoulders. Would have liked a better compensation than that. I asked him to add Melia points to my account but he said he couldn't. There is free street parking outside.
