This place was rustic, no TV’s, log furniture - not fancy but nice way to disconnect- we loved the spotty internet because people had ro put the phones down !! It had a perfect, cozy covered porch, great fun (you can rent paddle boards etc at the office and there is a little gift shop and restaurant—and very peaceful. You could even consider this a fun day stop, get a burger or snack, let the kids rent paddle boards or a canoe or walk dogs on the trails and eat a burger. It was pet friendly, we booked through air b and b so did not get slapped with any extra surprise pet fees. Really great office staff and owner. Kitchens in units are small but just what u need. We loved the trail right off the property around the lake and to the campground and to the visitor center and flaming river gorge overlooks were awesome. If you have a group w RV’s and campers some could be at nearby campgrounds and you could all easily walk to gather. We had fire pit and free wood. Really fun place if you flyfish the green rivet too. Great place.

Horrible, costly, two nights in Alpine 25. Three windows - 2 openable - 1 screen/lots of flying insects. No screen on the door, either. Ventilation needed! Plastic blinds badly broken - bedroom non-operable. No water glasses, only coffee mugs. No TV remote. Requested remote. Universal remote was left, but would not pair with the TV. No shelf in shower for soap or shampoo - had to use the floor. Picnic table peeling paint. No switch for reading lights - hand turn the bulbs! No cabin svc day 2. Had to request coffee. Delivered to us by a nice young man. Plywood skirting around the outside. Staff seemed to be young and inexperienced. Nicest kids, though. Management and training sorely needed. Certainly a huge disappointment. Will will never be back.

What a beautiful place! I was here with my kids for only one night, I wish we could have stayed longer. The cabins are lovely, the bedding was so comfortable my son asked if we could get him the blankets. We took a horseback ride in the morning, it was amazing. The staff was kind and helpful and the location is perfect, go and stay a while.

Basic good food and service in the Red Canyon area. Hey, it's a fisherman's hangout. Very pleasant service, The food is basic everyday American food. Prices are reasonable for the area (all mountain prices are higher than in the city). We'll go back every time we are in the area. Nice fly shop too!!

We have been going for the last 11 years. We love it and always have a great time but this year they have a new asst manger and he is a total ****. The maids are the best always friendly and our cabins are nice and clean and the guy that brings us wood is right on it. the lady named Joyce is great. Always so sweet but the guy named Paul is a total ****. They need to get rid of him. He was so rude and did not want to help us when we went in the store. He even threw the keys at a person in our group because she wanted to buy some ice. He was on his phone and we were bothering him. Other than that it was great. I hope they take my advice and get rid of him.

I found this lovely property when looking for accommodation in the world renown fishing area of the green river. As I couldn’t find it on any UK booking sites, I emailed the lodge directly and got a prompt response. It was really easy to book, we just had to pay a deposit to reserve the cabin. I’m so glad we chose this site; it was so peaceful and relaxing and just what we needed having done a lot of driving on our American road trip. We had an alpine cabin which was perfect for the two of us. We purchased breakfast and lunch items from a supermarket in Rock Springs on our way and ate in the resort restaurant in the evenings. We did the red canyon rim walk which we accessed directly from the lodge and the views of Flaming Gorge were amazing. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. As other reviewers have said, this was a real gem.
