This was a horrible place. It smelled, they had the heat on, it was VERY HOT. There was cigertte holes and couldn’t sleep at all. Only there a half hour.
Went down stairs and asked about the air and if there was air conditioner. There wasn’t one? What place doesn’t have air conditioner and has the heat on when it’s 70 out side?
It was a horrible place and they wouldn’t give any of my money back?

This is the first hotel I have stayed at in Alaska. Overall it is clean and tidy, and the suites are very cost-effective.

Enjoyed our stay thanks to the microtel employees. I would definitely recommend and return for future trips. They even welcomed my dog (who may seem scary but is a sweet girl and service animal)

There was mold on the top of the shower. No microwave and mini fridge in the room i was staying in. Dogs barking in the hallway.

This Microtel Inn is relatively affordable in the greater Anchorage Area, as everything does cost more in Alaska. Comparing to other Microtel hotels, this one in Eagle River does not meet the expected standard. The building is aged but being maintained at a reasonably condition. The breakfast is just sort of limited continental style, again not at par with other Microtel in the Lower 48 states. Otherwise, the stay was okay - room is standard size, decor neutral, cleaniess okay, bed fine.

The staff was very nice, beds ok, handicap bathroom the sink is coming off the wall, repairs are not done, parking lot very slick and icy, no cleaning on parking lot very bad and not safe for handicap. No refrigerator, no coffee pot or microwave in our room. Pet friendly but you don't say they are going to charge $20.00 per day that should be upfront.
