What a place! Lobby consisits of large timbers and other wood features. Grand opening, reminisent of the 1900's! Pleasant staff, clean rooms, easy parking. Be sure to read before booking; no AC, no elevators, etc. Enjoyed the ambience and the grand gardens. Note: train tracks near by-need a noise maker to sleep, thus the lower rating on sleep quality as we had to have the windows open. Won't be a problem in Spring and Fall.

Loved this Lodge, it has wonderful public areas, great food in the restaurants, and amazing friendly staff. Special shout out to the bell hops who carried our luggage up and down the stairs!!

As indicated above, it is a great property but be warned that there are no elevators, so if you have mobility issues, make sure you get a room on the ground floor. The shower in my room was tiny, barely 3'X3' but otherwise the room was comfortable. The Lounge was good for basic meals and shout out to James at the bar for outstanding service!

This was the worst hotel stay experience of my life. The hotel is very overpriced, highly mismanaged, the building is falling apart, the customer service is next to non-existent.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Glacier Lodge in East Glacier National Park. We loved the atmosphere in the Stately lobby, the live music both guitar and piano. We also enjoyed the talk given one evening by a very well spoken man concerning bears in the park. The historic tour of the facility was enlightening. We enjoyed the uniformed bellhops -so appropriately dressed. The food was delish at the restaurant. The puzzle tables were great conversation starters and the front desk and resourse staff were so kind and very helpful!

Beautiful historic lodge with breathtaking views. Friendly staff and plenty of family activities available. Food was wonderful. Amazing experience!

Lodge was beautiful but rooms outdated. Bathroom needed a serious update. No elevator and we were on the third floor, a problem for my husband. No TV on the rooms.

The reservation indicated that we would have a mountain facing room. That turned out to not be true. We showed the registration staff the reservation that clearly promised a mountain facing view and they said it was inaccurate marketing on their part, but still would not give us a mountain facing room. The reservation also said the room would be ready at 3:00. The staff again said again that their marketing materials were wrong and didn’t have a room ready until after 4:00. After a long good day of sweaty hiking, we were looking forward to that 3:00 PM shower. The lodge is obviously a great place, but it’s never great to feel mislead.

Good time and nice quiet location. Lodge offers close proximity to varies different types of hikes and trails. The flower garden was beautiful.
