Imperial Hotel

Just arrived home from a wonderful turkey and tinsel holida at the Imperial hotel with our Bingo Club. We had an amazing time..had great entertainment every night. The food was excellent and very varied, something for everyone. The staff was exceptional. especially our waitress Elvira . We would definitely recommend to anyone. Thankyou

We went for 5 days by coach from 12th November to 16th November and all was fantastic,great drivers there and back,we opted for the excursion which was to Alfreston,Lewes and Beachy Head.Our driver Gordon is a great comedian with a total ongoing commentry,his knowledge and historical facts are superb.All the staff in the hotel were fantastic,room was great and meals great but with one minor complaint,the potatoes,carrots needed a liittle more cooking but other than that the choice,service was beyond reproach.This was our 3rd visit and it gets better each time,well done to all,a Happy Xmas and Healthy 2025 to you all

Large bedroom with comfy bed. Plenty of hot water in the shower but low water pressure. There is a lack of power points in the room. Only 3 one for telly one for kettle and one free to use. There is a Good variety of cereal and a freshly cooked breakfast. Only drawback tea and coffee already on the table and got cold very quickly. Good selection for evening meal.The service in the restaurant was super meals served quickly.

Great hotel in a good location for the beach, promenade, town & buses to other places. Friendly & helpful staff. Good spacious room (I paid for a double as sole use), very clean with all you required including a large walk-in shower, comfortable bed, lots of storage, tea, coffee etc replenished every day by a very nice housekeeper. Meals were also good, hot & plentiful served super quick by friendly waiters who supplied everything asked for. Entertainment good but room is a bit haphazard with seating in alcoves when you cannot see the entertainers. It's a big hotel & does get busy so tables are sometimes put on the dance floor. if you wait for hot drinks after you evening meal, tables are difficult to get for the entertainment. Tinsel & turkey holiday was made special by carol singing at your first meal & on the second night by the entertainer. This was definitely a nice bonus. One thing to mention, WiFi is rubbish. Daish's really need to get boosters in their hotels, not everyone has a smartphone with data & nowadays most people need to have the ability to access the internet/emails etc in their own rooms. Altogether a very good stay so I would return. Thanks to David (manager) & his team.

Best Daish’s hotel so far. Turkey and Tinsel break with husband and mum and dad who are both in their 80s. We all had a fabulous time. The hotel was clean and everyone so friendly. Comfortable rooms and beds - no issue getting to sleep. Housekeeping kept us stocked up with fresh clean towels and tea/coffee. The meals were really good, ample portions and nothing was too much trouble. First time I couldn’t finish my evening meal….. Entertainment, quiz and a couple of games of Bingo, followed by live acts. Good crowd of people as the dance floor regularly filled. Town centre is located behind the hotel and lots of buses. Good shopping areas and lots of eateries and 2 Wetherspoons lol. Yes, we will be back. Thank you all at The Imperial.

Had a brilliant 5 days at this hotel , could not fault it, nice room , great staff, excellent food and service, good evening entertainment, what more could I say , I am Celiac, so required Gluten free food, no problem, the chef caters for you , even one evening,when the soup wasn't Gluten free, no worries,I will make you some ! Well recommended!
