Macdonald Botley Park Hotel and Spa

The staff were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The pool area with the steam and sauna rooms were clean. The rooms need updating but overall we had a pleasant experience.

Pretty decent hotel. Huge and lots of facilities including indoor pool.

A little upset that the bed was two singles pulled together but most everything else was good. Receptionist was very helpful and kind.

An overnight stay for business, there was a conference on, the hotel was incredibly busy so not as slick as usual checking in and ordering room service after arriving late but this is understandable.

Hotel was in a great location for where we needed to be. Only used hotel to sleep and for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't the best, was warm and got cold quickly, however, overall enjoyed our stay. Stay clear of the trees when parking, our car was a mess on our return.

Only 2 pillows needed more shower in bath too low but overall ok

I went for my birthday! So disappointing!!! Given upstairs room when explicitly asked for ground floor. Problem walking!!! Room was nearer 2star then 4!!!! Very sparse.....not even a box of tissues!! Grubby everywhere!! Very small!! Small tv even! We just left and paid!!! Have to say receptionist was very good about the only saving grace!!!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights and found everything to be of a high standard The following staff, Robert, Debbie, Clare, Ebony, Charlie, Alan, Zuzanna and Ollie went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay in every way possible An absolute credit to themselves and the company

we had to have an accessible room for my wife and while there was a mishap with the booking , it was rectified however and the room was clean and comfortable with the bed being large and fit for purpose. The walk in shower was however was raised where it had been converted and there was a lack 0f enough grab handles which made it difficult fo my wife to use . The breakfast was reasonable as was the parking.. M ywife was had her birthday while we were there and she had been sent a bottle for her to hav,e from our son and he had asked for a note to be put on it saying who it was from, but this was not done so we did not have a clue who it was from , untilour son rang us to explain what he had done .
