The price is a bit expensive for this area, but free parking is included. The hotel's dining is good. The location is also very good, right in the central area.
The surrounding environment is good, and there is a pretty good Thai restaurant opposite.

The hotel was clean and in a good location. i had trouble cooling the room below 72 degrees. My biggest complaint was the front desk staff. I had a meeting the day of check out ending at 11 am, and asked if I could delay my check out by 15-30 min. i was informed by the desk staff that "no" I could not and they had the legal right to remove any of my belonging left behind after 11 am. This made for a very difficult travel day and their lack of accommodation will ensure that I never stay there again.

Beautiful newer hotel close to the river, Pablo Center and numerous restaurants and bars. Being a Hilton Honors member I prefer to stay at their properties and this one was very nice. I was disappointed, however, that I was unable to select my room. We ended up with a smaller one and the bed was only a queen and sagged in the middle. Overall it was a nice room. The attached parking garage was older but functional. We went to the restaurant but upon review of the menu and pricing we chose to eat elsewhere. They specialized in pizza and we were not on the mood for that.

While the property is nice and the rooms comfortable, I did have an issue with an item I left behind being stolen. Within hours of checking out and confirming that no one had checked-in to my room after my stay I had advise the front desk manager that I left an item behind. After they had spoken to all parties who had been inside the room after my stay, they advised that my item was nowhere to found. While I take fault for leaving this item behind, it does not mean that it is ok for a member of their staff to keep the item and then subsequently lie about it after.

I booked the Lismore for a one night stay for a business trip. I had a confirmed reservation on their books for at least a month prior to my arrival. I went to the front desk to check in and was informed that they had cancelled my room due to over booking. They knew prior to my arrival that they were going to throw me out on the street with no place to stay but no communication was sent. They didn’t even attempt to find me another Hilton property to accommodate my stay. I have traveled for business for over 30 years and never had an experience like this. Buyer Beware!!

awesome rooms, great staff, the bar was nice - great old fashioned. this is definitely the place to stay in Eau Claire! Can't imagine anything that could have been done better. Top grades across the board!

Excellent - Clean - Quiet and good value -- this fairly newly remodeled Hilton/Doubletree is in a great location of the downtown arts district near the Pablo Arts Center. The hotel rooms were remodeled in the last 7 years and are still fresh, inviting and quite spacious. It's a great location for summer activities when the arts center offers a variety of entertainment .

Very nice place with great parking. Big rooms for a great view. Bathroom is fantastic. The only negative is the trash dumpster banging at 6 AM in the morning. I stay here when I have a procedure at the Mayo Clinic and need to stay overnight because of the anesthesia that they gave me. The only negative for this place is the inhouse restaurants are extremely expensive. This is from a Midwest perspective.

Everything was great starting with check in (Heidi). Warm, welcoming, feeling throughout the facility. Rooms extremely clean and all staff friendly and professional. Banquet facility/staff also top-notch. Other than a luxury resort in the islands, the Lismore provided the best hotel accommodations that I have experienced.
