We got married at Whitley Hall on Saturday 9/11/2024 and what an incredible day it was Everyone at Whitley went above and beyond for us I’m sure everyone who has been to a wedding here would tell you the same thing but we had the best time! We knew it would be an incredible day when we first booked but wow! The food was absolutely incredible! The menu was all delicious and perfectly cooked. All of the staff were wonderful and lovely, and we have had so much amazing feedback from our guests who were blown away with the team! From the second we checked in to packing up yesterday we have been so well looked after. Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality! We recently got married in the Whitley Suite. The staff were amazing and catered to our every need. The venue, styling and hair and beauty were perfect. Good communication throughout. Was super happy overall with our beautiful day. Everybody commented on the food quality, the set up and how relaxed the atmosphere was. The only downside was the scaffolding outside of the central courtyard. This limited photographs. We were alerted to this a week before the wedding. Despite this being essential work (and we understand this due to the building being built in 1584), it did impact the vision of our photos. We would however recommend this venue and will return for future visits!

We have just returned from a 1 night stay at this hotel and would like to say how much we enjoyed the beautiful setting, complete with peacocks, the history and ambience of the building and the friendly ,welcoming staff.
The room we had was faultless, impeccably clean, lots of facilities and a modern spacious bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was superb.There was a help yourself impressive buffet and a hot menu you could choose from. The American Pancakes were to die for -delicious.
We would highly recommend a visit here and will certainly treat ourselves to a longer stay in the future when we venture North!

Lovely staff, so friendly and helpful. Shame about the drilling outside, but maintenance needs to happen. Lovely stay.
