What a gem of a find. Arriving a little early, we were warmly welcomed by Andy and shown to our beautiful and exceptionally comfortable room. Eagle House is a passion, not just a business, for Andy and Helen. This is evident in all the little touches you find around the house and the time that Andy & Helen take to ensure you feel comfortable. Breakfast choices were very good, freshly cooked and served with a smile. Eagle House has a beautiful garden which you can enjoy (if the weather permits ) and with only a short walk into Eccleshall, you’ll find plenty of local shops, tea rooms and eateries. I mustn’t forget to mention the on-site parking. It’s rare you find somewhere in which you feel so at home. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had the most wonderful one-night stay at Eagle House en route from Kent to the Lakes. From the moment we arrived, to be greeted so warmly by Helen, to the delicious breakfast the following morning, prepared by Andy, our stay was memorable. The bed was large and very comfortable, with feather pillows and superior quality bed linen. The bathroom was spotless; the shower was huge. The property has a fascinating history: it was once a ‘poor house’, a school and a doctor’s surgery. Helen and Andy have done a fabulous transformation into the current BandB. Eagle House is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village where there are numerous cafés, restaurants and pubs. We had an excellent meal at Olivers Italian.

Beautiful B&B, wonderful hosts and delicious Breakfasts. Lovely comfortable room with all the amenities you need. Breakfasts were fabulous and made fresh to order. Pancakes were delicious. Eagle house is situated in a lovely village, with a good selection of eateries. We especially enjoyed the old smithy which was recommended by our hosts . Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

To many, “a jewel in the crown”, can mean many different things. Eagle House located in the bucolic village of Eccleshall is no exception. The proprietors, Helen and Andy, created the quintessential English countryside B & B experience. The rooms exude comfort and quietude and harken back to a period of gentility and grace. The breakfast options exceed all expectations for choice and quality. Helen and Andy went out of their way to assure our complete satisfaction. This is the perfect stop over when visiting the picturesque midlands, with charming shops and pubs. We plan on returning.

I have the pleasure of staying at this beautiful B&B every week and have done so for around 12 months. It is set in a lovely location and the rooms are immaculate, they are very tastefully decorated and suit the character of the house wonderfully. The hosts Helen and Andy are very welcoming and friendly and I am always greeted with a smile and a chat. There are so many personal touches that always make me feel welcome and not just a paying guest. I would not consider staying anywhere else and would thoroughly recommend.

Busy family Christmas found us looking for somewhere to chill out following dropping our youngest back to uni at Keele and Eagle House did not let us down. Helen & Andy are fabulous hosts & have put so much thought into the guest experience with gorgeous little touches such as homemade flapjacks & relaxing pouches to pop under your pillow. The bed was just fabulous with good quality linen, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was just so nice & made with local produce. Will definitely recommend & I look forward to a return visit.

Eagle House is a simply stunning place for a night or two away. Set in a lovely Staffordshire village, only a short walk away from the centre where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. The rooms are superb and the breakfast is even better. A beautiful place run by a wonderful couple. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

The whole experience was perfect, the cleanliness was second to none. Would definitely stay again. The gardens were beautifully maintained. A very special little gem in the heart of Eccleshall, well worth a visit.

Exceptionally friendly welcome. Delightful place to stay. Andy and Helen are a great couple who take pride in every detail of the bed and breakfast experience they provide. The house is really nicely decorated with lovely touches throughout. Don’t miss it if you are looking for accommodation in the area.
