We took a family vacation in 2018 and stayed at the Captain's Quarters Inn and we had an incredible stay. The service was amazing, the food great, and the inn was beautiful. So, we decided to stay again in September 2023, reserving 6 of the 8 rooms, but we should’ve stayed elsewhere. From the beginning it was apparent that we were not dealing with the same people who previously owned the B&B. It is now owned by a corporation who also owns the inn next door. The personal touch that was previously offered is no longer there and the breakfast was extremely lacking (breakfast wasn’t even held in our B&B, we had to go next door) but the customer service provided was the most disappointing part. To start, check-in was difficult. No one was there to assist any of us when we arrived. The first couple in our group to arrive spent a lot of time just trying to figure out how to check-in. The inn has a Ring doorbell and a front desk but no one was there. They rang the doorbell and called out for assistance but still no one. Someone else in our party mentioned that they also own the inn next door and to try there. At the inn next door, there was a phone number on the front desk with a note to call for assistance but that didn’t seem to work either. Finally after waiting for another 30+ minutes the housekeeper appeared and assisted (after mentioning it was not her role to check-in). The next person in our party to arrive was finally greeted by Noah after calling the posted phone number but still waited for 20+. He was told that Noah and his mother (I don’t remember her name as she never greeted us or introduced herself) would be taking care of us for the weekend. By 1:30 PM, before the last 3 couples in our party arrived, Noah handed all of the keys for the remaining rooms to my brother in law and told him to give them their keys and a tour and then he left the property. This is terrible customer service and it continued to be the same throughout the rest of our stay. Noah advised he was going to fill the beverage fridge in the Captains Quarters and the inn next door with water, juice and soda. This never happened. Someone did finally put a case of water beside the fridge in the inn next door the following evening but we had to put them in the fridge ourselves and no juice or soda was given as advised. We were also told that we needed to call them if we needed assistance or we could knock on Noah’s door as he “lives in the back". No one answered the phone when we called, no one returned our calls and no one answered the door when we knocked. My sister in law asked for towels when my husband and I were checking in as they didn’t have any in their room and Noah told her he’d bring them up right away. This didn’t happen. A few hours later she knocked on Noah’s door to ask for towels again, only to be ignored and then we saw him driving away a few minutes later. My niece found that the toilet in her room wouldn’t stop filling after
