Kids enjoyed swimming in the top floor pool. Nice view on sun set.

Coffee machine didn’t work. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Hold on wall and ceiling lights didn’t work. Towels frayed

The room we were initially given was next to the equipment room, which was noisy at night. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to a larger suite on a similar floor. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are clean.

The room is large, with refrigerator and microwave. Very clean too.

they are very accomodating that the kids still want to go swimming so we stayed alittle bit longer after 11 am. Thank you

Stayed for a hockey game. Because there was a game, the hotel jacks the prices way up from what it should be. The room was VERY dated. Apparently fitted sheets are not a thing anymore. The shower head wasn't installed proper so it was shooting water towards the ceiling and wall, most likely gonna be mold behind the tub surround. The hot water tap was leaking when it, or the cold water was turned on. The couch had a pretty gross looking stain on it. Only one coffee cup and 1 housecoat for a 2 person reservation. No towels at the pool when we were there. The cabinet with the fridge in it has a disgusting musty smell when it was opened. For the price of an Uber,, I can't see myself staying here again when there are way nicer hotels for significantly less in the area.

Check in was at 3. We arrived at 4:30 and had to wait an hour for our room to be ready. I was not offered any VIP upgrades and was given a $20 credit to use in Chop. Which really probably was my VIP perk. I will not stay at this hotel again if I can help it.

Staff did not inform me of the additional parking cost and simply presented me a bill upon checkout. When i indicated that no one told me of the cost for parking, the staff simply said "Sorry about that" and then overcharged me.

Very close to Rogers. 4 min walk via pedways. Hotel is dated, rooms are clean but dated. Long wait for elevators after events.

Good hotel option for any downtown trip!! Really enjoyed how we could get to Roger’s without having to go outside!!

Great staff very friendly and a good pool with a very nice view - great location would stay again.

Check in was unhelpful. Sent us to a full underground parkade & did not provide WIFI information. Very very rushed service & LITTLE concern for the customer. The room had extreme water damage to the bathroom door & bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was disappointing as other Sandman’s we have stayed at have been very nice. Will not stay again.

Check-in was extremely fast and efficient. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows were all quite thick for our liking, but that is a personal preference thing. Couldn't find any variation in pillows. Found it unusual not to be able to find housekeeping in the hallway at all the first morning to get extra shampoo, but we managed and when we tracked someone down in the afyernoon she was wonderful. Robes were great to wear to the pool. Hot tub was HOT. Everyone that went in while we were there commented on the temperature and some people and children wouldn't go in after putting their feet in. Front desk staff were great late at night after the hockey game when we ordered food. Chop is in the basement of the hotel, but closes at 11pm most evenings, so is not an option if you are looking for food after a hockey game. When they are open, Chop does serve tasty food and drinks. I would definitely stay here again.
