We enjoyed our stay at the Imbali Hotel. There are no complaints about the Lodge, everything is clean, beautiful, the room has a bathroom with a view of the river (but unfortunately during our stay it dried up due to drought), there is also a private small pool on the veranda. Opposite the restaurant there is a view of the watering hole, where elephants come every day, it is very impressive.
We really liked the guides who accompanied us on the safari, thank you very much for the holiday!

Un rêve éveillé. C’est ce que j’ai ressenti en entrant dans ce lieu d’exception hautement accueilli par un staff extrêmement gentil et bienveillant , et surtout quel enchantement lorsque l’on arrive sur la terrasse une vue magique sur une famille d’éléphants avec un point d’eau. Ensuite Un safari avec notre guide dans une jeep tout confort et le must du must c’est la surprise de le voire sortir un apéritif au coucher du soleil et la même chose le lendemain pour le safari au lever du jour. Sans oublié une chambre magnifique parfumée, rien n’est oublié. Une literie exceptionnelle, un coin pour apprécier un livre ou un café ou simplement regarder la vue sur les animaux, la salle de bain spacieuse et une vue également sur ce qui vit à l’extérieur, la terrasse n’est pas en reste avec un jacuzzi et un petit coin idéal pour la sieste . Merci vraiment et sincèrement à toute l’équipe d’Imbali lodge . Pour moi depuis le temps que je voyage restera en première position de mes meilleurs souvenirs.

Just left the Imbali Lodge today and felt compelled to write a review right away. We had a memorable stay, met some wonderful guests at the lodge and were extremely well looked after by the amazing staff. The meals at the lodge were very indulgent, well prepared and beautifully served. The game drives were the highlight of our stay. We went out on these adventures twice a day with an incredibly knowledgeable and energetic young man named Jayden. His instinct was as sharp as his knowledge. The drives were really enjoyable. We saw some breathtaking sun rises and sunsets, driving in an open safari jeep in the crisp, chilly, mornings and evenings. Would love to return to Imbali some day.

Picked imbali as a good place for a short 3 day safari. Food portions were large and of good quality . There are some areas where the wood at the lodge and around the property need some replacement but overall didn’t detract from a lovely setting . Watering hole for elephants is directly opposite the restaurant area so good for breakfast and lunch . Safari drives were good and Jayden did a great job for us . Would have been nice to have a transfer from local airport Skukuza included in the cost of the room. Private hire was around £135 each way.

My family and I traveled to the Kruger National Park game reserve in July and spent several nights at Imbali. I was born in South Africa and grew up going to Kruger, but I had never stayed at Imbali. Well, without question, I’ll be back! The lodge and accommodations were wonderful - you feel immersed in the park, but enjoy great luxury and comfort. What most stood out about our experience were the people. First, our guide, Charl, took us on multiple safari drives a day, and he was exceptional. His passion and enthusiasm for his work was infectious and the way he engaged with us throughout our time there made for a very special experience. But it was all the staff, including the chef, Matilda, who went above and beyond to always make us feel welcome and to accommodate any special dietary needs. I have always known there is something remarkably special about Kruger, and now, having stayed at Imbali, I can say, it is a perfect compliment to this experience.
