Pentahotel Eisenach Reviews

The room was nice and new, with towels but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The restaurant was on the first floor, and there was nothing much to eat for breakfast, just a few slices of bread with some jam and fruit.

The hotel is located in an industrial area, the view is very nice if you look over the industrial area, for example the Opel factory, you look over to the Thuringian Forest and have a view of the Wartburg! The rooms are so-so, well furnished and clean! Renovation would be necessary! On the other hand, the restaurant was very, very good! Price/performance ratio was good! Breakfast was good! The staff were very nice and accommodating! The starting point for bike tours or hikes is ideal!

Got a very nice room on the top floor. Large and spacious. Bathroom with bathtub and rain shower. Everything was very clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, breakfast was a bit one-sided and not very well laid out. A pot of coffee on the table would have been better than standing around at the machine. The croissants were far too sweet and of poor quality. The other rolls were OK but not fresh from the bakery. There is a lot of potential for improvement.

Very friendly reception staff, modern rooms, comfortable beds, restaurant looked inviting. Unfortunately I was away on business and tired. Otherwise the ambience would have appealed to me. I can recommend the hotel.

The room was very nice and clean

Quite nice, rooms are spacious and clean. Good bathroom and strong WiFi. In hotel restaurant is top notch, very tasty. A little outside the city center, you’ll need to bike or car there. Hotel comes with a wel equipped gym and sauna. Staff is very friendly and speaks English well.

This hotel cannot be compared to hotels in berlin and Neurenberg at all were we stayed for comparable prices. It is old, no safe, no fridge, you need to be an engineer to understand the shower funtion. No cleaning every Day. No possibility to use a cooker. Very basic. Strange odd smell in the hallway. The toilet did not look clean and flushng was poor. The price for food compared with berlin and Neurenberg was too high. We will not come back again. No airco. It does not deserve the current rating. Tv channels are very poor. Just sleep here and do not expect anything at all....overall young People are staying in the hotel. I would not advise this hotel for 50+. Parking is free...but i rather pay for safe parking. Hotel is far away of everything.... no...i cannot advise this hotel as 4 rating hotel....3 rating at highest or less. I did not even wait with this review before having our first breakfast.

Good: Room was clean, correct and quite spacious, room was quiet, facing the back. Bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast was very good. Not good/unpleasant: The room did not have a safe. When I suspected and asked about this (I had asked if they could please check the video recording to see if anyone had gone into the room, whether there had been cases like this before, etc.), I was told: "Unfortunately, the incident ... is no longer comprehensible, so you are free to report it to the police if necessary." My other questions were completely ignored. I realize that the hotel is not liable for theft from the room. And without evidence (possibly previous incidents, recordings, were other guests victims that day) it is not worth reporting it to the police. But there was no answer to my other questions - especially since the email was addressed to the management. What a pity. Not correct: The stated 10% for food and drinks was not deducted from the bill, even though the booking was made online via my Penta Friends account and everything was charged to the room. Because the bill was sent to me by email, I didn't see it until later. That's why I'm giving it a bad review. Website quote: "Take Ten On Us. Ten is our magic number. Not only will you receive 10% off your stay with us, but we'll also take 10% off your food and drink* bill (*not valid for Pentahotel Inverness)." So the stay at the Pentahotel Eisenach was not good for us. If you are not a Friends member and do not keep valuables in your room, you will be quite happy with the spacious room and the very good breakfast. The staff in the service and at the reception were friendly and correct.

The hotel is only 10 minutes by car from the center of Eisenach. The many free parking spaces at the hotel are great. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, large and equipped with a bathtub and balcony with a view of the Wartburg. The hotel also offers billiards, table football and PlayStation in its lounge, which is a great way to pass the time in the hotel. The fitness room with sauna serves its purpose. The breakfast buffet offers everything your heart desires and is in no way inferior to other hotels. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely fine in terms of quality and taste. There could have just been one or two more dishes on the menu. All in all, you can recommend the hotel without hesitation, especially in this price category.

The hotel is great, it is in a quiet area, the room was large, clean and the bed was very comfortable, the hotel staff was very friendly, the breakfast is very complete and delicious, to put it another drawback, the restaurant menu is a bit short, but everything was very delicious.

Simple hotel with basic rooms. Registration takes place at the bar. Some of the staff seemed annoyed. Food and drinks were good. The rooms have no air conditioning, no coffee maker and only a bathtub, no shower. The rooms were not cleaned during the stay, but were clean on arrival. Everything was kept fairly simple. The beds were good, small TV, tiny balcony. The location is outside, better to arrive by car.

The hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area, five kilometers from the city center. The furnishings are old, not to say shabby. The extremely uncomfortable lounge, which looks more like a second-hand furniture warehouse, is draughty because the patio doors are always open. The bar is untidy, the staff are always hectic and hardly approachable. From our room we had a view of a weedy slope 2 meters from the window. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, the shower was only lukewarm, and the bathroom ventilation was broken. It's best to take opera glasses with you to watch the miniature TV. There was a spider living in the bathtub. The room was also shabby and in dire need of renovation. The only plus point was the comfortable bed. I would never book a room here again.
