Located a 20-minute walk from the airport and a 15-minute walk from the city center. The front desk staff were friendly, and while the breakfast selection was simple, it was filling. Room facilities were basic; no tissues were provided, and the mattress and blankets didn't seem disposable. Slippers were not provided.
The hotel's pricing is reasonable for El Calafate.

The chalet-style hotel has compact rooms and not very comfortable beds. It has a lovely grounds, a rarity in El Calafate. There's an inexpensive restaurant with decent food.

High cost-performance ratio, elegant and quiet environment, sincere staff, decent breakfast, convenient transportation. I would give it a high score of 8 out of 10.

От отеля до центра города добираться минут 10, но в горку. В самом отеле есть ресторан с неплохой кухней. Завтраки однообразные, но голодным не останешься.
Комната уютная и чистая. Персонал вежливый. Из недостатков -трудно было регулировать температуру воды в душе.

The cutest rustic and homey hotel. The property is gorgeous and within walking distance from the downtown area as well as the bus station (took the bus to El Chaltén from here). Room was simple but clean and well cared for with a decent sized shower in the bathroom. The included breakfast was very good and I particularly enjoyed the orange juice and coffee. I truly do not think I could have picked a better place to stay and would highly recommend Picos del Sur for anyone staying in El Calafate
