Добрый день. Останавливались на 2 дня в этом отеле. Из плюсов-красивый отель,рядом озеро,есть трансфер в центр,бассейн с возможностью проплыть на улице. Завтрак очень скромный, в номере нет чайника и кофе машины,даже кружек нет. Также нет набора для чистки зубов и бритья, а также геля для душа,что странно для отеля 5*. В общем отель не на привычных 5*,но в общем не плохо.

Wonderful hotel, great location overlooking the lake and across to the Andes. Half hour walk to the town of El Calafate, but the hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to town and back, which we used twice. Really warm, comfortable and clean hotel, big room ,large bathroom with wet room. Pool and spa facilities are super relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi are immaculate, and you can swim into an outdoor area too. Plenty of towels provided, really pleasant spa staff. Excellent choice for breakfast in a dining room overlooking the lake. Plenty of hot and cold options, lots of fruit and pastries. The hotel has a restaurant and bar area, also serving food. Really friendly, helpful staff, Lorenzo was excellent.

this hotel was an excellent hotel. outside of town but they do have a shuttle that runs to downtown frequently. We enjoyed our short stay with them. The room was clean and spacious with peaceful excellent views of the lake. There is a trail around the lake that is easy to access from the hotel.

The hotel advertises itself as a five-star property, but that rating is not really justified. By international standards, it would be at best four stars. The rooms are perfectly fine, but several other aspects definitely do not meet five-star expectations. The breakfast in particular is very modest and really not acceptable for a hotel claiming this category. That said, it is probably still the best option in El Calafate. It is located a bit outside the town center, but there is a shuttle service available both to and from the city, which is convenient.

There is a glaring infrastructure weakness that makes this hotel barely livable. Unfortunately I did not read Tripadvisor reviews, nor would I have gleaned this important flaw, had I combed through the library of comments. Xelena has very poor room sound insulation. I stayed at the hotel 3 nights. My neighbors were loud enough that conversations were discernible in the bathroom and lying in the bed. Materials used are of the cheapest quality. Doors are a vinyl typical of the lowest quality in Home Depot, and in the In United States, would not meet fire codes. There is a glass reusable bottle of water provided for guests. Filled upon check in. Here's the rub. Refilling is downstairs adjacent to the front desk reception. Every time I needed water, I traipsed down from 520 to the water refill station. And then, refilling took an interminable time. The machine is meant for filling a small cup, not a liter glass bottle. Yes, management was willing to.move me. Not convenient for a 3 night stay, especially when this junior suite was flawed in construction. On positive side, Bar Menu for informal dinner was very good. The Mora Dining Room was excellent, with superb service with a smile.

Very pleasant three night stay in the Xelena. Spacious room with fabulous views and handy hourly shuttle into El Calafate of about 15 minutes. You can also eat in El Rustico on the waterfront about 5 minutes walk away. The food in the restaurant was especially good where we dined once. Breakfasts were lovely aswereall the staff.
