Excellent location by the sea, you can go directly to the beach through a gate. Food is fine and varied. drinks are served at the table. You can get snacks between meals. Staff are friendly. Best mattresses ever for me, no back pain for the first time after holiday. The room and towels are changed daily. There is no need to lay down a towel and even in the afternoon you can still find a spot. There is a nice children's pool area with slides. The only disadvantage is parking, you have to pay 13 euros per day at the hotel. You can also park for free in the area. There are some shops and restaurants in the area. The boulevard is nice to walk along, but don't expect many shops and restaurants. Water skiing is a 15-minute walk away, well arranged there with security at sea if anything were to arise. 65 euros for 20 minutes.

Avoid if you are not multi cultural, going out of this hotel for anything is like being in a zombie apocalypse where nobody likes you or speaks English... In house is better but you are outcast by rude bar staff and Spanish entertainment all day. Entertainers do try but find comfort in there own and move on quickly. We were all inclusive (so we thought) 11am til 11pm is not all inclusive in my book, not being able to even get a coffee or cold drink before 11 is unacceptable, never experienced that all inclusive ever and Jet2 do not make this clear when booking. No drinks machines to even buy anything either, get some bottles of water and keep in fridge is my tip Bar Staff are rude and the quing is horrendous, with only 2 staff working i felt it a stalling tactic. Every drink have 4 large pieces of ice, another money saving tip from management? Ask for no ice and they look you up and down... Won't serve drinks in big containers, only small so you end up having 2 which leads to extra litter and over run bins around the pool. Why you can't vend cold drinks yourself would cure the waiting times... this is only available in the restaurant and not poolside, why? Main pool is dirty, maintenance spotted jet washing into pool and I didn't see anyone testing the very murky water prior to opening which is possibly why my family had a serious sickness bug which was very unpleasant and so did many guests we spoke to when leaving. Ive rated this hotel at 3 star as i feel 4 star this is not Dated in places although eating area is newly refurbished and our room to, beds were comfy TBF I would recommend upgrading room as the standard does not keep children in a separate room and therefore everyone is together in the room, 2 children sharing a double bed. Air con is very poor and integrated (not a spearate unit you can control) so you can't control it at all. Keep door shut, curtains closed and lights off all day is the best solution to keeping room cold, this needs doing all day and whilst sleeping - very uncomfortable Food OK, not much variety at tea time. Breakfast was best 👌 Be careful with the dodgy Spanish man in the arcade who likes to refuse prizes to your children as ”they have won enough” bearing in mind we probably spent 50 euro a day in there. When confronted... the kids got their prizes - very dodgy Slides were good, the beach and sea I wished we would have gone on more what put me off was you had to pay extra for sun beds (5 euro each), the breeze was nicer on the beach, the poolside was like an oven and uncomfortable at times, extra sun umbrellas 16 euro to buy and they are needed as little shaded areas. 30+ degrees everyday, another money spinner for the hotel. If managed better this hotel could be so much better, maybe its the Spanish way? I won't be returning Cheap and Cheerful holiday all in all, you get what you pay for I guess. We stayed for 3 nights and played golf twice. The hotel looks quite grand when you arrive,and we had no trouble parking, although it’s low season. In high season I expect you would have difficulty finding a parking space outside, in which case you would have to pay to park in the hotel underground facility. Our room had a lovely view with a small balcony over the swimming pool. It was fully functional and clean, but pretty tired. The air conditioning seemed to have been set to winter mode, so the room was 25C. Maybe okay for Spanish guests, but far too hot for us. The chamber maids, maintenance man, then hotel Director all tried to rectify the problem, which was subsequently rectified the following day. We were offered a move to an apartment, but didn’t fancy that. The beds in the room were also too hard for us, and the maids put on toppers the second night which made them a bit softer. Breakfast was pleasant, standard fare. We didn’t have dinner, but ate in the bar, which again was fine. We sat out on the terrace one lunchtime in the sunshine, and I suspect the pool area is lovely in high season. One lunchtime, the hotel recommended a restaurant in Aguadulce, restaurant Mistela Gastronomia, which was excellent. Very easy and cheap to get a taxi there and back. We played golf twice. Both days were at the weekend, but the course was very quiet, and we were not paired with anyone else. Very unusual even in low season. The area, and course is very hilly, so I would recommend a buggy (unless you’re super fit). It’s a woodland course, which I found quite interesting and challenging. Any water features are dry at the moment. ‘Rustic’ is the description I would use to describe the course. The pro shop were very friendly and surprisingly well stocked with a variety of clubs. It’s difficult to see how the hotel has achieved 5 star status, but the place grew on us, as all of the staff were so friendly. Despite having to complain, everyone we came into contact with tried their best to help, and seemed to want us to have a nice time. Not sure we would return, but we had a pleasant couple of days.

There are only praises to say as opinions about this hotel, which is on the edge of the motorway.Rooms are new,the bed is enormously good as at home,certainly the decor is inexistent,the staff are laughing, The breakfast is in the average for the hotel category.Our GPS ,WAZE,GOOGLE ITINERAIRE did not indicate the way to follow then for future customers the hotel is at the exit 800 from the motorway in one direction or in the other.It is a good hotel To stay two or three nights. Beautiful hotel located right in the port with an abundance of delightful restaurants and bars. We booked the junior suite with jacuzzi, rather disappointed as no sun loungers on our private terrace despite plenty of room to accommodate them. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, check in staff were wonderful however I strongly disagree with a €15 room service charge, even if you only want a glass of wine bringing to you. When you pay €250 a night I expect as a minimum to be able to order a drink to my room. We ended up walking to the bar next door, a 2 minute walk and spent €118 for a delicious lunch and drinks do the hotel is missing out on extra revenue because of this ‘ service ‘ charge policy. Surely in todays day and age you should be able to order extras without incurring a charge for a standard hotel service

El gran punto negativo de esta villa, sin lugar a dudas, es la falta de mantenimiento que tienen.. adjunto fotos donde se pueden observar los grandes desperfectos que habían en las paredes de la ventana.. Las tapicerías de las sillas tanto en las villas como en el restaurante con grandes manchas … Los baños sin secador (tienes que solicitarlo en recepción) y el enchufe en el baño a una altura de dos metros como se ve en la foto.. 🤨 Los colchones de muelles malísimos se hundían.. El servicio de las comidas depende del día, cuando sólo hay una persona atendiendo puedes estar 1 hora y media .. falta personal.. Respecto a los desayunos, hubieron dos días que no tenían jamón york según dijeron porque no había venido el repartidor.. (buena provisión.. 🙄) Como positivo la comida que tiene una calidad muy buena en los menús. Si tienes pensión completa el menú es el mismo para mediodía y cena a excepción de un plato más que añaden en la cena. Hay parking gratuito de sobra en la entrada En el recinto que es muy grande tienen gallinas y un burrito encantador, rodeados de granados, olivos y viñedos
