This was our second stay at the hotel and we can wholeheartedly recommend it. Staff is helpful, professional and friendly. Everything was great! The swimming pool was definitely a highlight. Especially for those sunset pictures. No complaints, it was a perfect stay!

Our favourite hotel on our trip. Clean, friendly staff and nice location. A bit away from main drag but nice location on beach

This is a stunning Corong Corong beach front hotel with a stunning pool and bar area and private villas, if you have a bigger group or a family. The insane views of the other islands and sunset is totally underestimated for this hotel, and is a property you must visit if enjoying a beautiful sunset is your appetite.

Really lovely little hotel on a quieter beach in El Nido. The staff were so kind and friendly. The view from the pool was perfect. Lots of little restaurants around, or you can take a tricycle into the main town for 100php. A really nice choice for staying near town, but not right in town.

A nice hotel with amazingly helpful staff. I would suggest to get a room with pool view as the other rooms are a little noisy due to the road. Lovely views of the sea but not a good beach for swimming.

The overall score is only 3.6 for a reason. The receptionist's attitude is not very good and perfunctory. When asked if they can upgrade the room, they said no at first, but they actually can. Unlike other resort hotels, it feels professional and enthusiastic. The white cushions of the pool chairs are dirty, which gives people a bad feeling. But the staff near the pool are very friendly. The room is relatively small. The sea view room can see the sea, which is not bad. The breakfast is average. The overall feeling is average. You can stay in other hotels at this price.

Great location and view, nice and large swimming pool and good beds. The hotel is outdated and in urgent need of renovation. Breakfast is downright nasty. Don't eat there! There is a great and hip restaurant 'la Plage' 5 minutes away. The view of the sea and mountains is fantastic, but you cannot swim well there because it remains shallow for a long time.

Nice hotel in a good location on Corong-corong. Rooms are a little dated but nice with a really comfy bed. Water temperature is temperamental as solar powred. There are water stations on each floor and you also have a jug in your room. Ideal as El Nido water is notoriously bad. There is no lift so it can be a trek to get your cases upstairs although usually someone is around to help. The main building is the best to stay in as each balcony has a sea view. Breakfast is not fancy but adequate as mentioned in other reviews the pancakes are good. You can’t charge to rooms in this hotel so you pay at the bar in cash or by card. The pool is lovely and is right on the beach only negative is the lack of sun loungers. There are around 12 at the pool and perhaps another 8 on the beach. It wasn’t too busy when we were there so we got loungers but people were lying on the grass or sitting in chairs poolside especially later in the day. Drink and food in the hotel was ok and prices not too bad. There are shops 2 mins outside the hotel where you can buy and stock up your fridge cheaply. There are loads of restaurants that you can walk to. Hotel is fine for a short stay in this area.

3 stars?! No kidding!! We had booked this hotel for 2 nights, deceived by its location in front of the beach and with the expectation that it would be a simple but decent accommodation. We found ourselves in a dilapidated building, with a small room, poorly cleaned and on the edge of the road. But apart from this, the worst aspect was that at the check in (after having paid for the entire stay, since they requested the advance payment) we were informed by the reception that there was no hot water, since the hotel is powered by solar energy and in those days there had been few hours of sun. For us, hot water was a fundamental and essential requirement, otherwise we would have booked directly a 1-star hotel and saved money. From a 3-star hotel I do not expect luxury but at least a decent and essential situation. For this reason, we asked to stay only one night and asked for the refund for the second night, since we had not paid to take a cold shower and, in any case, we had not even been notified beforehand about this poor service. The reception told us to request the refund directly through booking. We did so immediately by explaining the whole situation, but weeks later the hotel very unfairly did not grant it to us, claiming that there was hot water in those days, which was absolutely not true, because this poor service had been communicated to us at the check in by the lady at the reception and, in any case, we had tried (in vain) to keep the taps open for almost an hour. To the misconduct and rudeness described above, I add the lack of professionalism of the staff, since the hotel is dirty and at the time of check in (it was almost dinner time), the reception could not find our room key. Also worthy of note is the breakfast room, pervaded by an unpleasant smell that makes you lose your appetite and by a sparse and truly uninviting buffet. For us, this hotel has been a nightmare. A word of advice, don’t be fooled by the location in front of the beach, but go elsewhere……

We stayed 6 nights in the hotel and were very happy. The people working there are so kindly, and they are doing everything to help you. The hotel is in a good location, away from the rush in El Nido town. There are nice restaurants and shops at walking distance from the hotel. And the views from the garden and swimming pool, are just lovely! The beach at the hotel is nothing special, but is very good to do a walk with fine views. Our room was close to the reception, it was not to big, but quiet, clean, with good Wifi and everything we needed, and a shady terrace. Breakfast is sufficient, but nothing special. Good coctails and happy hour at the bar. The hotel organised our boat trip. Tuktuks are waiting in front of the hotel, to go to El Nido town, to the beautiful Maremegmeg Beach where you can do long beach walks, or to Lio Beach. Thanks to the fantastic team of the hotel, for doing their job so good and with a big smile!

For me, this was exactly the resort I was looking for. Sure it’s not luxury but the service and facilities are excellent. Right from when I arrived, Rachel and Chela at the front desk were personable and professional. I booked the casita deluxe and I highly recommend this room category. The view of the sunset is spectacular from the lanai. The bed is comfortable and clean; with the Filipino decor being a plus. There’s a minor issue with the bathroom sink faucet and brought it to the owner’s attention. The owners are also engaged with the guests which made me feel like a VIP. Bravo to all the staff for their excellent service, I will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel is an absolute car crash but here are the pros to begin with. Pros: It’s perfectly positioned between El Nido town centre and Las Cabanas/Vanilla Beach meaning you are in the centre of all the best beaches / amenities without being nestled amongst the business of El Nido town centre. The pool and beach view is also delightful. Cons: The level of service is appalling. Eventually we managed to laugh it off but it was actually mind blowing how you would ask for things and they never get actioned. E.g they advertise boat tours at the desk however when we came back to check if it had been organised for us the girl at reception simply showed us it had been written in the book however it hadn’t been actioned or confirmed at all. Luckily we learned early on day 1 never to rely on the staff to implement anything however we’d have been heartbroken if we were only staying for 3 days and realised we had missed out on a boat tour due to the negligence of the hotel staff. WiFi…..what WiFi. Luckily we have chosen to embrace the break from social media however for a hotel at this price point working WiFi is a non negotiable… Showers, I hope you like them cold because the hot water rarely works, only at evening time after a day of sun due to hot water running off solar power. We’re all for renewable energy but again a hotel at this price point should have working hot water. Breakfast is disgusting. We chose to skip breakfast after the first day and have been getting breakfast elsewhere since. The selection is awful, everything is cold and the sausages quite frankly didn’t look fit for the stray dogs. Oh and one more gripe (I genuinely don’t leave reviews like this often) the staff can be really inattentive, they’re always nattering with each other whilst you’re patiently waiting at the desk and they never go out their way to give you information about the island, help to book excursions. Most people in hospitality in El Nido are lovely and to be fair the cleaning staff at the hotel are lovely but the receptionist team are really below par. To summarise, if you don’t mind having a break from the internet and you don’t mind a cold shower first thing and you’re happy to treat this hotel very much as a room and a base then great! However at this price you’re best off going elsewhere, I sincerely hope this hotel cleans up their act.

Basic. No hot water if the sun isn’t shining. So out of 6 nights we had warm showers on just 2 days. Hotel staff are run off their feet. Breakfast not worth eating. Go elsewhere. Bat has very limited drinks selection. No tonic and often no pineapple or mango but have carton cranberry juice. Cheap and cheerful
