Hotel Michanti

This place was amazing. Exactly like the picture but even better in person.The food was amazing.Really romantic place for couples.The host were very attentive . This place is 10 out of 10 . Will deffently recommend this place . The rooms clean air condition was on. Point can’t ask for anything different

This is a cute and clean hotel with good amenities. It is small so it is a great place to connect with other people if you are not the shy, keep it to myself kind of person. I was extremely disappointed, however, at the fact that they advertise activities such as yoga and other stuff but there was nothing available. I actually booked this hotel because, supposedly, there was going to be yoga a couple of days during my short stay there. I even asked about this before getting there. Well, when I got there, I was told that they didn't have a yoga teacher so they had no yoga classes going on at the moment. As far as other activities (exercise related), they just told me "no, we don't have today". I felt that I needed a partial refund for this reason. They even have yoga advertised at the gate. The best part about the place is the staff though. All of them are friendly, polite, and helpful.

Review of Hotel Michanti, El Salvador: Positives: The location is fantastic! The hotel is just steps away from an amazing beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. I highly recommend getting up early to catch the beautiful sunrise. The outdoor decor is nice and inviting, creating a relaxed atmosphere for a chill getaway. Negatives: We arrived late at night (around 10 PM), and the staff member who showed us to our room did not provide any information about the Wi-Fi, where to refill water, or breakfast times—essential details that travelers typically need after a long flight. My husband had to step outside to gather this information on his own. When you arrive at a hotel, you expect a warm welcome and a brief orientation, but instead, the staff member simply walked us to our room, opened the door, and left. Additionally, there was construction scheduled for the following morning, which was mentioned in a message we received the night we checked in. Unfortunately, this resulted in a complete loss of Wi-Fi and electricity for the entire morning. Given the price we paid, I would consider staying elsewhere next time. I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but service is a crucial aspect of any hotel experience. If the staff had been aware of the outages, they could have at least apologized or provided us with some information during check-in. Overall, Hotel Michanti has a great location, and the breakfast was good, though a bit pricey. However, the customer service left something to be desired.

Hotel Michanti is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting only a very short walk from the beach. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and were wanting to help us in any way we needed. Although all of the staff were friendly and attentive, Yaricza consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. She works all areas of the hotel and always has a smile on her face; she is a great asset to the hotel. The hotel is small and surrounded by beautiful, lush landscaping, which make for an intimate and relaxing experience. The staff were always busy cleaning and kept the place spotless. The restaurant has great food and drinks at reasonable prices. The pool is beautiful, and the hammocks in the upstairs palapa are a wonderful spot in which to relax or take a nap. My daughter and her friend stayed in the Quadruple Room (hot water in this room), and my friend and I stayed in the upstairs Surf Apartment (hot water, refrigerator, and they made up the sofa bed for us before we arrived). One of our favorite things about the apartment was the private patio; we sat on it every morning listening to the birds and feeling the breeze. We really felt relaxed and at home at Hotel Michanti. The only thing we didn't like about our stay was when we had to leave! We will definitely be back!

We’ve just had a brilliant 3 night stay at Hotel Michanti. Highly recommended. The staff made my partner Mark and I feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. Firstly, we were able to park our hire car in their onsite car park, plus they were able to check us in earlier than the normal 3pm slot. The food was consistently excellent. Good generous portions and a great variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room was spotlessly clean and beautifully cleaned daily. Finally, just a short walk to the beach and also benefits from being a little quieter at night. Had 3 terrific nights sleep!!

Michanti is a special place. Coveniently located on one of the main roads of El Zonte. It's pretty easy to get to, and once there, you'll be about 3-5 mins from the beach. We were greeted by Yaritza, who made us feel taken care of since we first arrived. We were allowed to check-in early which was hugely appreciated. Our room was cozy and had more beds than we needed. The amenities and facilities are fantastic, with a cool-looking pool area, ping pong table, beautiful hammock loft, and more. We did not try any of their scheduled activities like yoga or salsa lessons but saw other folks enjoying them. The restaurant menu and staff were amazing. Although the menu was a bit different than expected, offering dishes such as smoothie bowls, curry, and pasta, every dish we tried was tasty and generously portioned. We had the Pasta al Limone twice as it was so good! They even offer to keep your leftovers for you and heat them up when you're ready to eat them. Josue took care of us in the restaurant and his service and attention were fantastic. At one point in our stay we lost an important item and the staff made sure to keep it safe for us. It's these little details that made our stay truly memorable and we will be back. Aside from Michanti itself, El Zonte felt very safe. Make sure to stay close to the lifeguards on the beach as the current and waves can get very strong. Gracias Yaritza, Josue, Adonay y Roberto por todo!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are simply decorated and perfect. The property is surrounded by trees and native vegetation, and so there are so many birds and butterflies. The hotel has a really nice energy. I look forward to coming back.
